Dry Friction Clutches :
The following types of dry friction clutches will be described here :
In cone clutch the contact surfaces are in the form of cones . In the engaged position, the male cone is fully inside the female cone so that the friction surfaces are in complete contact. This is done by means of springs which keep the male cone pressed all the time.
When the clutch is engaged, the torque is transmitted from the engine via the fly wheel and the male cone to the splined gear box shaft. For disengaging the clutch the male cone is pulled out by means of the lever system operated through the clutch pedal thereby separating the contact surfaces.
Advantages:if you want to use the timing marks to lock the engine up then you have to turn the engine over until the camshaft pulley meet up with the hole in the head, the hole is about 8-10mm. stick a drill bit in the hole. then you lock the crank up by putting a 5mm drill bit in the flywheel, should be about lined up when you put your first drill bit in. might need a bit of a wiggle. mark where they pulleys are anyway just for satisfaction.
ive always had 16" on mine as i think 17 are to big, i need to get rid of my old alloys which have a fair few scratches but they look nice if n e one wants them for nothing.
16 is the biggest you can fit
are you still giving away your alloys? and were abouts do you live?

depens on year and wich saxo or pug it is. eg most engine parts from the 1.6 vtr will fit the 1.4 engine in the quicksilver as they are both tu engines. the most commen part of the saxo vtr that people put on the quicksilvers is swaping the inlet manifoldes, its nice and simple to do aslong as its the manifoleds of a saxo the same age as the quicksilver you are puting it onto
Saxo Versino Tres Rapid
Version very fast, if you don't speak frog
its the cv joint it gives a click, click, click noise on full lock sometimes pushing grease into them helps but usually needs replacing.
