I was 35 weeks pregnant. I took these for 3 days until he moved off my kidney. During the 3rd trimester of pregnancy your baby is completely formed and 'building the last blocks' ie: lung development before birth. It is not recommended during the first trimester or the last 2 weeks prior to estimated delivery date as premature labour and dilation may be experienced. Depending on the stage of your pregnancy, you should be able to determine from this answer whether you need to take it while pregnant or better still if you could try to only use paracetamol/tylenol.

Well in a legal sense Morphine is a scheldual 1 narcotic. it in the medical term is an opiate. AKA a strong pain killer.

Depends on what you give it for. For cough, 4 x 20 mg a day for an adult seems a reasonable upper limit. For pain, this would generally not be enough, but the side effects (terrible constipation) are quite strong and another painkiller would normally be chosen in view of this. Codeine is also a dependency-inducing drug so is not freely vailable.
