Why did the Marxist system fail?
Communism is not a failure. Communism means a worldwide system, with no countries or borders or government or rulers or money, and has never existed. No wages or employment, just people co-operating for the common good. Look at the extent of voluntary work that goes on even under capitalism: there is every reason to believe that Communism would work very well for everyone.

Answer this question…
The idea of mutually assured destruction prevented the Soviet Union from launching a nuclear attack on the United States.
How was the cold war different from previous wars?
Not a single bullet was fired between the two major "warring" powers. There was never open combat between the NATO powers (US, GB, France, W. Germany, ect) and the Eastern Bloc (USSR, Poland, Czechoslovakia, ect).
What is Joseph Stalin's leadership style?
Stalinism, which is a totalitarian form of state capitalism, relying on a police state and surveillance of citizens to maintain order. Also involved assassination of all his former Bolshevik revolutionary comrades, who opposed him because he had betrayed the revolution. Stalinism is everything Socialism/Communism is not. What was the general belief of Americans concerning the cold war in the 1950's?
Just like today, there is no universal feeling. Some people were frightened, some people were angry, some people were annoyed, some were confident, and some did not pay attention to the Cold War.
Why did Stalin refuse aid from the us-sponsored marshall plan?
Since the Cold War was, in a sense, a huge competition between the Communist economic system and the free market economic system, it would not look good if a communist system accepted help from a free market system. A superior system does not need the help of an inferior system. (Incidentally, you are talking about the Marshall, not Marchall Plan.)
Why was the six day war important?
Answer 1
Multiple Middle Eastern countries attacked Israel but they failed because of many reasons. One the lack of water to their troops. Israel gave plenty of water to their troops so they wouldn't become dehydrated. Another was lousy firepower. Most of the Egyptian guns were jamming. A large reason was because the Israeli Defense Force Fighter jets completely terminated the Middle Eastern Ground troops with superiority. Then they were barraged as they retreated for five days. It was an important war because Israel was standing alone and stopped an overwhelming amount of troops with little casualties to their own.
Answer 2
Israel gain control of six new territories: East Jerusalem, West Bank, Sinai Peninsula, Gaza Strip, the Eastern Bank of the Sea of Galilee, and the Golan Heights. However, this control was based on UNSC Resolution 242 which requires that Israel devolve these territories to their original countries in return for peace agreements.
In addition to the new territories , Israel also gained a fundamental shift in Middle Eastern policy. It would now be negotiating with Arab countries from a position of strength, being able to return tracts of Arab land to the Arab States for peace as opposed to merely just asking for peace. This is the main reason that Egypt and Jordan eventually were willing to sue for peace even though no other Arab country has done so.
What was one major motivator of the arms race during the Cold War?
Both the Soviet Union and the United States worried that the other would build up a larger nuclear arsenal.
The NWO has nothing to do with self determination of the nations. Global governance is the framework into which the nation states will be absorbed. A "third world war" is not avoided by the self determination of the nation states, but it is not to be blamed on their self determination either. It is the mechanism through which the NWO will emerge.
What was the fear of communism in America called?
The Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic(Russian: Росси́йская Сове́тская Федерати́вная Социалисти́ческая Респу́блика (РСФСР), transliterated as Rossiyskaya Sovetskaya Federativnaya Sotsialisticheskaya Respublika [RSFSR]), also called the Russian Soviet Federated Socialist Republic, the Russian SFSR, and the RSFSR for short, was the largest and most populous of the fifteen Soviet republics of the Soviet Union.
It became the Russian Federation on the collapse of the Soviet Union. It was by far the largest sub-national entity in the world by area and second in population after the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. The capital was Moscow, which also served as the capital of the Soviet Union.
Why did the US and Russia become enemies after World War 2?
The US was distrustful of the USSR and their leader Josef Stalin after the war because he refused to allow certain agreementsto be carried out. While there is considerable disagreement over who is at fault, even to this day, their is no question that President Franklin D. Roosevelt felt he had a different understanding of what the USSR would live up to than did the USSR at the end of the war in Europe, in April, 1945. For example, the US had thought Poland was to have free elections, but the USSR refused to allow this. As a result of this and many other disagreements involving many of the eastern Euroopean countries (Bulgaria, Yugoslavia, Germany...which was split into East and West Germany, Czechoslovakia and others)...the US and USSR entered into what became known as the Cold War. Meaning it was a war of words and not weapons...so cold not hot.
Who primarily caused the cold war?
It arose out of the clash of ideologies and interests of the two main winners of WW2 - the U.S. and the U.S.S.R. (and their allies in both cases). An important early incident that brought the tensions very close to the boil was the Soviet blockade of the three Western Sectors of Berlin, which started in June, 1948. Much to the suprise of Stalin, the West responded by flying in supplies. The Berlin Airlift continued till after the blockade was lifted in May, 1949.
The Cold War started when WWII was over, and the Soviet Union controled all of the countries that it freed during WWII. The U.S. was not in favor of this, especially scince the Soviet Union was communist. The U.S. spoke to them about this, and that is what started the Cold War. The Cold War was an arms race, a space race, and a spread of harsh words.

Describe the origins of the cold war?
Communism EXISTED before WW2. The "Cold War" emerged when man entered the Atomic Age in 1945. The introduction of Atomic Weapons now made it suicide for total war to be conducted. Therefore, it was now a "stand-off." Commonly referred to as a Cold War. Only "limited wars" could now be fought between the Communist World and the Free World; Korean War (1950-1953) & Vietnam War (1961-1975). Limited to the use of CONVENTIONAL WEAPONS ONLY.

The Bay of Pigs invasion with US backing confirmed to Castro that the US was his enemy. Relations between the US and Cuba remain very bad to this day, even though the Cold War ended some 21 years ago (as I type).
How is the iron curtain a dividing line?
The 'iron curtin' divided the East (Communism) from the West (Capitalism/Democracy). There was no physical barrier (although several physical barriers do exist, such as the Berlin wall), but a political barrier.
