Comedian Adam Hills was on a flight from Sydney to Melbourne with a team of Aussie rugby players when their airbus wen missing in the Snowy Mountains. With no food and only ice to eat, the players panicked and decided to eat his lower leg which was already shaven. Adam was conscious through the whole ordeal and was the only one to ask for seconds. By nightfall they were spotted by aerial rescue, which was lucky for Adam as the team were still hungry and complaining that they should have eaten the other leg as it now appeared bigger the one they'd eaten. They said it tasted just like chicken. They were rescued just after dark having spent just one afternoon in the snow. Adam used the bone left over from the feast to help construct the artificial limb.

If you ask a comedian that is still working the club circuit... there is no benefit. When you make it to the point where you need an agent to book your gigs, your in the movies, or you write material for other comedians you have made it to a level that can be quite rewarding financially. There is also something to say about fame and the perks that come with fame.

No. You may be thinking about Brock Peters who played Joseph Sisko, Benjamin's father in DS9. Incidentally, he also played a high ranking Federation member that appeared in several of the movies. He was in the operations station of Starfleet when Kirk and crew were returning to Earth in a captured Klingon Bird of Prey in ST4: The Voyage Home. Brock also played the same character as a Federation-Romulan collaborator in the Camp Kitomer incident, a major historical event which allied the Federation and the Klingon Empire, and also lead to the dishonor of Worf's father Mog, also played by Michael Dorn. Watch ST6: The Undiscovered Country. These two movies answer a lot of ongoing issues in the TNG and DS9 series relating to Worf and the Federation-Klingon alliance.
