How do you turn off mouse lag on a Gateway?
If the pointer is moving a fraction after you move the mouse then the answer may be a trojan/virus in your system.
To test, close all applications to rule out CPU/Memory load as the cause and see if the lag still occurs by moving your mouse left and right in quick, single jerks on the desktop. If it still happens then maybe some malware has inserted a program between your mouse (and video/keyboard) driver and the processor to remotely monitor your actions. This can cause the delay.
I wouldn't trust any currently installed AV software since it may be compromised.

If a computer has no ram inside, it, first of all, the PC will not boot. As memory is a factor of the PC actually starting up.

Which computer is best Apple or dell?
In my opinion Mac computers are better. They freeze up less, are more user friendly and aren't susceptible to viruses. They also do not have a registry, like Windows computers do that constantly needs cleaning up..
The one drawback is that Mac computers are more expensive, but I think they are a good investment because they cost less to maintain and last longer.
How will a new power supply improve my computer's performance?
It may not. Is there something wrong with your old one?
If your current PS is running fine, there might be a couple of advantages to upgrading.
1. The PS itself might run cooler as it won't be working as hard to produce the needed power. A new unit will also be free from the dust that accumulates over time, which also makes it run cooler.
2. A higher output PS may be needed if you want to add more hard or optical drives to your machine or if you generally have multiple USB devices connected to it. Or if you install multiple SLi video cards, which are power hogs.
The disadvantage is that, if you add a bunch of devices to your computer, they will all produce heat and if the PS must produce near its maximum output all the time, IT will produce more heat too. And heat kills integrated circuit chips (CPUs, memory, etc.) If you upgrade in this fashion, you will also want to improve your computer's cooling system if at all possible. Heatsinks for RAM, additional fans...

Which RAID level stripes data across multiple drives to improve performance?
Every RAID level stripes data across multiple drives, which improves performance compared to using a single disk.
RAID 0, RAID 1, RAID 1+0, RAID 5, RAID 6, etc. all have better performance than a single disk.
Other than RAID 0, all other RAID levels provide fault tolerance.

What are colour scanners and gray scale scanner?
Gray Scale: Using black and white and shades of gray, the scanner is able to translate the image into gray scales. Why would you use a gray scale scanner? If you plan to print on a black and white printer, it is most cost effective since color ink is so expensive. Text is best done on a grayscale scanner.
Color: A color scanner scans images in red, blue, and green shades. This scanner is more expensive in terms of final print output . A color scanner usually costs more than a gray scale scanner. If you plan on doing presentation work, work with color photographs, or any sort of task that requires a color output, then use a color scanner. With this scanner you can also choose options of scanning such as line art (scanning the image only in black or white), grayscale (black, white, and shades of gray, or color (shades of red, blue, and green).
If you think of a motherboard as a suburb with houses and buildings (chips) connected by streets ( buses) then it makes a bit more sense
What are the advantages and disadvantages of combining a printer and a scanner into a single device?
