What is the difference between a gigabyte and MHz?
gigahertz is the processing speed of your CPU(eg. 1.8GHz,2.8Ghz etc). It's the speed at which your processor runs. Gigabytes is the unit in which data(any data)in your RAM,HardDisk,Memory card or any other storage device can be stored is measured.simply,Its the unit to measure the data storage capacity.Eg- 2GB RAM,160GB hard disk etc..
How many bits would be needed to represent a 64 character?
That depends on the character code used:
How do I convert kilobyte to megabyte?
One MB (MegaByte) is 1024 KB (KiloByte).
Hence, to go from KB to MB you divide the number of kilobytes by 1024 and you're left with megabytes.
How can you compress your files?
There is specific software designed for PDF compression. PDF compression software uses one of two methods to compress a PDF file: lossy and lossless. Lossy compression results in some loss of image quality, but provides the greatest amount of compression. Lossless compression, on the other hand, results in no quality loss, but cannot achieve the same compression rates as lossless compression.
The Presentation layer must make certain that the format of the data will be understandable by the Application layer. This includes the use of encryption, compression, different graphics formats, etc.
It uses a technique known as Portable Data Representation that allows data from different hardware to be able to communicate.
What does GB mean in computer term?
GB means Gigabyte. It is unit used to measure the amount of data you can store. 1 GB is equal to 1024 MB or megabyte. 1024 KB or kilobyte is equal to 1 MB. 1024 B or bytes is equal to 1 KB. 1 byte is equal to one character such as the letter "A". So 1 GB can hold up to 1,073,741,824 characters.
How many 400 page books in a gigabyte?
Depends on how many pages each of the books contain, and how large or small those pages are as well as the typeset used during printing. Please be more specific.
What are cookies on a computer?
A cookie is a piece of information that is stored on your computer by a web site. It is most commonly used to personalize a web site for the visitor to that site.

How can you send 609 MB of video?
A really good way to send any files (large or small, even videos) is to just upload them to your Google Drive. If you have a gmail account (just create one if you don't)
Then once your files have been uploaded they will appear in the "My Drive" tab on the left. You can then check the boxes next to your files you wish to send and hit the share button.
A box will pop up and all you have to do is type in the email address of the person(s) you wish to view it.
Also if you plan on sending several files (like a photo album) you have the option of uploading an entire folder.
This has been the best way for me.

and so on ....:)
What is the difference between megabit and gigabit?
This actually depends on what you are counting or using the terminology about.
Transfer of information over wireless or through cable and storage on hard disk etc uses the decimal version 100%.
This mean that 1 Mega bit is 1.000.000 bits and 1 Giga bit is 1.000.000.000 bits.
However.
If you count bits as in memory bits in a computer, then other rules apply.
Short example.
1 Kilo bit is with previous method 1.000 bits.
This can be written in Binary number system as 1111101000 bits
As you see, there are empty spaces in the binary number (filled with 0).
We make more efficient use of memory to fill all available spaces with 1, hence why we say that 1 Kilo bit memory is actually 1024 bits.

What is stored within ROM memory?
ROM memory in a computer normally contains BIOS (Basic Input/Output System), which is the first program to run once a computer is switched on, before the operating system loads. It initializes and tests the system hardware. BIOS can be modified by flashing a new firmware, though it is not normally recommended.
What is the difference between a notebook computer and a sub-notebook computer?
