Which computer component is called the brain of a computer?
Greetings,
The part of the computer that does the "thinking" (doing the calculations) is the Processor/CPU ((Central Processing Unit))
And the part of the computer that does the "remembering" is the harddrive
You have two more that I can think of: RAM ((Random Access Memory)) and GPU ((Graphical Processing Unit))
I will try to make those two simple:
RAM is the working memory of the computer because it is much faster to get data from the RAM then the Harddrive (RAM is 100'000 faster then a Harddrive! o.O)
And the GPU is basically just a processor, just for working on sending pictures to your screen (So that the CPU can work on other things instead :) )
I hope this answered most of your questions! :)

What hardware system do you first assume is at fault?
The obvious answer would be the Power Supply Unit (PSU). This starts the computer and without it nothing can work. On the other hand if you have a faulty mother board or RAM, the computer would switch on but nothing would be shown on the screen. The PSU is found on the highest part of the tower. Also check the the switch (if it has) is switched on, and that the power supply cable (the 3 pin one) works.
How do you start a crashed computer?
It depends on what operating system you are using. On most windows operating systems you can get into what is called safe mode right after you reboot. You do this by usually pressing F-8 over and over as soon as you start your computer. I have seen it F-10 as well. Safe mode will often allow you to get the computer up and running with minimum drivers so you can reinstall or uninstall a program that is causing the problem, run scan-disk or some other utility. If you know what you did just before it crashed you may be able to undo it such as change some settings under control panel.
Downloading new drivers can solve some problems if you have an idea what device is causing the problem.
If none of this works you can always try and save stuff to a thump drive or something and then reinstall windows or even format your hard drive and reinstall everything, though that would be a last resort.
If the problem is hardware it will have to be replaced.
If all else fails you may have to take it to somebody to get it fixed.
If that fails you can always take out your aggressions with a hammer or toss the blasted thing out the window!!

What is meant by the term word wrap for word document?
Word wrap is a feature of word processors where a person inputting text does not have to indicate the end of a line--the program calculates when a word will go over the margin and pushes it to the line below. Word wrapping is so common nowadays that people hardly even notice it, but in the days of the transition from typewriters (which did not have a word wrap function and required the typist to manually create a line feed) to word processors, many typists had a difficult time getting used to it.

How much is it to hire geek squad to build your computer?
Geek Squad does not build computers as per their policy. They will install parts at $50 a part, but will not install motherboards. In theory, if Geek Squad were to build your computer, with only the most basic required parts, here is the cost breakdown for installation prices only, parts prices not included.
Power Supply: $50
Motherboard: $50
Video Card: $50
Memory (1-2 Sticks): $50
Hard Drive: $50
DVD/CD Drive: $50
Total: $300 + Parts
Unless there's a very specific reason why you need a custom built computer, if you don't know how to build one yourself, your best decision financially is to buy a pre-built computer.
Otherwise, between parts and labor, your computer will cost between $1400-$2000 for the same parts and features that you can get in a pre-built computer for $800-$1000.
