One credit hour is equivalent to one credit for institutions that operate on a two semester academic year. Thus, if you take a three credit course, it means three hours of class contact time per week through the semester. Credit hours are also referred to as semester hours.

You need at least 165 to be a senior, and 230 in order to graduate as of 2013.

Grades and credits are two different things. The amount of time spent in a class is what constitutes college credits. The question is IT good enough for graduation

Commercial banks, like many viable financial institutions, operate in the private sector, and by definition all operations present in this sector have a profit motive, and thus seek to make profits by maximising flows of income which should evidentially surpass that of their costs (Economics 101). Commercial banks seek to provide a thorough circulation of money through the economy (i.e. private, public and individual levels) with them acting as the intermedium for this flow of money, in a profitable manner. What I mean by this is, that they consider their short-term and long-term inflows of money, and spread them out to see what time-frames may present problems (to avoid cash flow inefficiencies). Also, commercial banks will open trust, savings and current accounts to consumers and businesses (i.e. a long term loan for a client could be a mortgage, whilst for a business a short term loan could include a bank overdraft), and will use the money from clients to loan it financially to other clients or firms. This will be its main source of income, the incentive here being interest rates for people who lend the bank money (and can deposit it later on) and the incentive for the firm being high intrest rates on loans to firms and consumers. In such a manner, it aims to become profitable and lucrative. Of course, banks can also be used in a more traditional sense and store people's personal values in vaults or safes. Note that, even though commercial banks may help in factors such as economic growth, increased employment, more foreign investment..etc it is not one of their aims, but these are simply results of the banking facilities the banks provides, as banks only consider private benefits (it may be useful to look at social costs and benefits here).

That's my perception on commercial banks, feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, I am certain there are many other functions, but these are all that come to mind right now. I am actually only a IGCSE student, and so my info may only be accurate to a certain degree.

You can attempt to have this account removed (or deleted or simply shielded from view) in two ways.

The first way is by approaching the creditor or collection agency that placed the account. There is no federal or state law which requires or compels credit reporting. Any creditor can, at their discretion, remove or withdraw any account they choose to. The chances of them complying with this request is very small, but it is always worth a try.

The second way is by disputing it with any credit bureau that happens to display the account. The (federal) Fair Credit Reporting Act states that bureaus have 30-days during which they must "verify" any disputed item or shield it from view. The accuracy, authenticity or status of the account is not an issue. If the collection agency cannot "verify" the account, for whatever reason, it would work in your favor.

Yes. The original creditor more than likely put the item on first, then sold the account to a collection company who after unsuccessfully trying to collect the debt reported the item to the credit bureaus. So to you it was the same account or item but now the debt has transferred to a new company.

No you don't need it. That is the normal way to add money to your account or you can purchase the PlayStation network card and this is quoted about the card from related link:

Honestly, you can't really "cheat" credits for all I know, but you can commendation credit farm, such as using the target locator on Oni (the second level), then reverting to last save, which is the best way to farm, but there are many other commendation farming techniques, look up others on youtube, but the downside is, after the commendation is completed, the amount of credits earned are drastically decreased, so it is a short burst of credits, then nothing.

If you go to Account in the top right corner, on mine there is a drop down option of Credit Balance and in parenthesis it tells me how many FBC (Facebook credits) i have. If this doesn't show you, go to the help center and choose the option credits.

YES they can !... every transaction made by using the card - will show on their monthly statement. If you use their card - you are committing FRAUD - ...and that would be ILLEGAL !
