There are three main ways to fax something: With a fax machine, through a local store with a fax service, with a computer, or online.
Fax Machine
A fax machine is used to send and receive faxes.
To send a fax with a fax machine, you would need to:
1) Connect the fax machine to a phone line
2) Put the documents you want to send in the document feeder
3) Dial the fax number you want to send to
4) Press the send button
5) Wait for the confirmation that the fax was successfully sent
Local Store
There are often stores with a fax machine available to use. Print/Copy shops such as FedEx/Kinkos or UPS Stores are the most common places. Hotels and Business centers will also usually have a fax available.
To send a fax from there, go to the store and ask them to help you send it. Each location can be different, and they will walk you through the process.
Computer
Most computers have software that can have them act as a fax machine.
For this to happen, the computer's modem will need to be attached to a phone line - this way the software has the computer act as a fax machine.
There are a number of software packages on the market that will do this, and some systems such as Windows have a program like Windows Fax and Scan already installed on them. Each of them have their own instructions on how they are used.
Online Service
An online fax service does for fax what webmail did for email - the service, and all the technology involved in sending and receiving the faxes are run by the online fax service provider.
The user only needs to log onto the service, then use it to send and receive faxes instead of managing technolgy on their end. These services are also usually accessible from anywhere the internet is accessible.
Each service is different, and each has its own instructions on how a fax is sent.

Which printer is compatible with a dell inspiron 15?
Generally, any printer will operate with any computer. Currently on my Dell Inspiron 1525, I'm using a Dell 2135cm color laser printer, but a variety of printers will work. When trying the download the available printer software, the laptop already has a preloaded list of compatible printers. To install printers on the list, it is just a matter of using the disc concomitant with the printer itself. Although my printer was not on the list, it was a matter of inserting the printer CD in to the CD drive and then the installation takes a couple seconds.

What is the best gaming laptop for the cheapest price?
No hardcore gamer can stay away from his rig for too long. Just like auto enthusiasts pamper and polish their baby, a gamers rig is his pride and joy, something to brag about to his friends. But what happens when moving becomes necessary? Hauling a 20 pound bulky case halfway across the county to attend a LAN party is no easy task, but avid gamers do it several times each year in order to be with their peers.
Fortunately there is an alternativeA gaming laptop allows for much greater mobility, while not sacrificing the performance of traditional desktop PCs. The only limiting factor is how long you are away from a AC outlet; however, recent advancements in battery technology have made this less of a concern. Several years ago, an adequate machine would set you back several thousand dollars. Passion about gaming was not enough; you also needed deep pockets.
Competition is driving prices downAs manufacturers realized there was money in the mobile gaming market, competition drove the prices down to the point that gaming laptops were available for under a thousand dollars. Some even go as low as 700 dollars. What sets a gaming laptop apart from others is the presence of a discrete graphics card. A dedicated GPU is more powerful than an integrated one, and coupled with the faster, dedicated memory this translates into gaming performance that can rival that of desktop PCs.
The problem is choiceToo much choice is as much of a problem as too little choice, making an informed decision that much harder. Fortunately, there are several steps that can narrow down the number of options. Of outmost importance is the power of the GPU; http://www.videocardbenchmark.net/ has a list graphical chips ordered by performance. RAM memory is cheap, and most games require four GB, so the difference in price between two and four GB is not worth the drop in performance. Laptops are also harder to open up for an upgrade than desktop PCs. Games put a lot of strain of the battery, but manufacturers do not report battery life under full load. After deciding on a model, search around for a review and see what experience others have had; http://www.amazon.com/ is a great place for this, if only for their huge offer and large customer base.
Brand has little relevance, an analysis of reported defects show an almost uniform distribution of defects across all manufacturers, with top brands actually having a slightly higher number. The best way to keep the price down is to not pay for what you do not need. Few gamers will use a Blu-Ray player since most games still come on DVD. A beautiful case is nice, but art is expensive. Games can take up a lot of space, but unless they are combined with music or video, a one TB hard drive is overkill.
