*mix rose water with 1 tbsp of powdered camphor and store it in air tight container in the refrigerator.

*Or 2 tbsp of fullers earth, 5 ground cloves, a pinch of camphor and rose water. Wash off with ice cold water.

*Take the cream from fresh milk, add few drops of lemon and apply on the face to remove pimples and acne.

*Grind dried orange peels in water and apply the paste on the face. This removes pigmentation marks and pimple.

*Take equal quantities of alum and black pepper and apply on pimples and acne.

*Apply cucumber juice on face to remove pigmentation marks and pimples.

The biggest mistake would be to touch or prick them. Also dont use soap on your face. Use medicated face wash like johnson & johnson's clean and clear.

I was recently (in February 2009) looking for a dermatologist in the Acadiana area that accepted Medicaid. While calling around to several dermatology offices, I was referred to the LSU Surgical Clinic on Perkins Rd in Baton Rouge. They are a division of Earl K Long Hospital. The number is 1-225-768-5700. I just called and verified that they took Medicaid, then was able to set the appointment. I did have to wait a month for an appointment, and I drove 1 1/2 hours, but the staff was very friendly. my guess is you are either not blow drying, brushing, or even washing your hair. try puting it up...AND WASHING IT. it can also be caused by stress relations. if you don't think that's right ask your doctor, you also probobly have dan-druff.

You can't get rid of pores, they are a feature that is permanent. What you can get rid of is what they cause; pimples! If you have a breakout you should go see a dermatologist. There are also many other treament options in case you just have the regular every day pimple, you can clean your face with mild soap and water twice a day and/or various pimple solutions, the ones that I know of are Proactive, Neutrogena, and Clean&Clear. Other individuals dealing regularly with the study of Dermatology might be researchers in microbiology, virology, or immunology studying specific disease entities in that field, but they would not be clinicians (i.e. see and treat patients). Certain Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioners with a specialty in Derm. might see patients and assist Dermatologists in their practice too. People interested in studying dermatology ought to contact dermatologists living and working near them, arrange an interview, and start asking some pertinent questions.....especially "What is good and what is bad about Dermatology?"

A dermatologist is an MD, so you must attend 4 years of college than 4 years of medical school. Then you must do a year long internship and then apply for a 3 year residency in dermatology which, along with radiology, opthalmology and anaesthesiology, is incredibly difficult to get.

In undergrad, you must have a high GPA and MCAT to gain admission to medical school. In medical school you must have high USMLE scores, and must be near the top of your class at a good medical school to get the dermatology residency of your choice.
