Where can I find a kids digital camera?
Websites such as Argos and Amazon will have all the specifications for each camera they sell. eBay can also be a useful place to shop, but it is easier to decide which camera you want from another website, where one can be sure that the specifications are accurate. It is also a good idea to read the reviews before buying, to ensure the camera really is as good as it appears.

How does a Digital camera take a picture?
when you look through the lens before taking the picture the image is actually being 'bounced' off several mirrors.
when you take the photo the mirrors fold back and are captured in the camera.
when you are finished taking the photo they go back intoplace so you can see through it again.
that is why when you take a photo there is that snapping noise. if you were to look through it at that moment you could probably see blackness for a split second because the mirrors have gone and then you can see it again because they are back.
How many pictures can an 8GB memory store?
It really depends on your camera and it's settings. The lower the resolution, and the higher the compression setting, the more pictures will fit on your card. That aside, the range is very large; it will fit between 1,200 and 62,000 depending on your setup. Pretty dramatic huh. And actually, if you were shooting on a Digital SLR or even on the new Canon Powershot G10, while shooting in RAW mode, it could be as little as 300 pictures. So as you can see, without details, it's hard to be precise in my answer.
The related link gives information on the maximum number of photos at varying megapixel ratings / varying image file size and for varying memory card capacities and may be of use.
How do you down load from camera to computer?
Well, if you have a notebook, I just found this answer myself. You would need to buy a Firewire cable (6pin to 4 pin)that could connect both in your cam and your mac.
Connect the cable to your computer in the firewire port, then connect it to your cam. Assuming your computer is already turned on. Go to application on your computer and choose imovie, then choose create a new movie HD. finally, choose create a new project. Underneath where it says video format, choose DV widescreen. Now, turn your cam on play ( of course you need to rewind the tape first). Everything should go smoothly from there. :-)
Wow, the description above seems a little complicated, you can adopt an easier way to get the video you want. You can use some screen recorder to help you. Connect your digital camera with computer, and play the video you want, then you can use the program to help you record. I always use it to record Google chat video when I'm making video calls on google.
Can you transfer photos from a camera directly to a Nook?
If you read the Nook Color user guide you will find the picture (Gallery) and music apps in the "extras" folder. The directions are not as specific as they should be, however, I have successfully downloaded my own photos into the Gallery where you will also find some preloaded wallpapers. Here is what I did. Connect the usb cable to the NC and to the computer. Find the pictures you want to transfer, copy them. Open "MY Computer" and you should see the NC as a drive. In XP on my computer it was labeled "Media". I just dropped (pasted) the pictures I copied into the drive and will wonders never cease, they are in the Gallery folder. Once in that folder you can rotate them or delete them. Make a slideshow or choose one to be your new wallpaper. I got a message about Roxio which is a program on my computer and perhaps there is an easier way to do this through Roxio, but for now I am a happy camper. The user guide also tells you what files your NC supports. For example, I found there is no reason to make my Word docs into PDF files, the NC supports doc. Same transfer process or transfer them as PDF through Adobe Digital Edition.
A camcorder is a portable consumer electronics device for recording video and audio using a built-in recorder unit. The camcorder contains both a video camera and a video recorder in one unit, hence its compound name. This compares to previous technology where an acquisition and recording devices would be separate.
How many bits per pixel are needed to represent a black and white image?

What should you look for in a digital camera?
I can help make your decision easier, if you answer a few easy questions. 1- What's your budget?
2- What type of photos would you most likely be taking?
3- Would you intend to print copies, or simply share photos on the Internet? Most point and shoot cameras made today have megapixel ratings of "5 Megapixels" or higher. The "MP" rating determines to a large degree, the size of prints that can be produced. A 3 MP camera can produce excelent 4x6 prints, a 5 MP camera can produce fine 8x10 prints, and they can both send beautiful images over the internet. Most point and shoot cameras come with telephoto lenses, and are rated as 4X optical, 4X digital, etc. These lens settings allow you to take family group photos, or objects farther away. I would strongly urge you to stay with manufacturers that are in the business of making quality cameras, such as Canon, Nikon, Olympus, Pentax, Fuji, etc. They are all world proven products, and will give excellent results. Regarding memory cards........most come with your camera, but are usually of small size. Memory cards come in various sizes, that will determine the number of images that may be recorded on them at one time. With a 5 MP camera, and a 512 MB card, you could expect about 350 images to be recorded . The larger the card, the more images can be stored. Most digital cameras eat batteries, so if your camera uses "AA" batteries, you might wish to invest in a charger and rechargable batteries. I've been a photographer for over 50 years, and I hope this explanation hasn't been too "Wordy".

It depends . Theoretically and mathematically the standard JPG100 (100% quality and 24 bit per pixel) at 6 Millions Pixels (100% quality and 24 bit per pixel) has 1.6 MB so your 2 GB card will contain approx. 1250 photos.
since computers can only store binary numbers, all computer data has to be in
digital format. Images, sounds, video etc. all have to be digitized before they can be processed by a computer.

What are the advantages when using a digital voltmeter?
The electronic voltmeter has higher input impedance than other voltmeters, such as traditional VOM's. As a result, it loads the circuit under test to a smaller extent, introducing a smaller error in measurement. Many electronic (or digital) voltmeters have an 11 Megohm or 20 Megohm input impedance, as opposed to a typical 20 Kiloohm per volt impedance of a typical VOM with a 50 microampere movement. Some high end electronic voltmeters have an input impedance well into the thousands or millions of Megohms.
