Websites such as Argos and Amazon will have all the specifications for each camera they sell. eBay can also be a useful place to shop, but it is easier to decide which camera you want from another website, where one can be sure that the specifications are accurate. It is also a good idea to read the reviews before buying, to ensure the camera really is as good as it appears.

The amount of pixels per picture is just to measure the detail and clarity of a picture. The 30 pixels will give you a clearer crisp picture with more detailed color, whereas the 10 pixel will have a larger botchy picture with no intense small detail.

when you look through the lens before taking the picture the image is actually being 'bounced' off several mirrors.

when you take the photo the mirrors fold back and are captured in the camera.

when you are finished taking the photo they go back intoplace so you can see through it again.

that is why when you take a photo there is that snapping noise. if you were to look through it at that moment you could probably see blackness for a split second because the mirrors have gone and then you can see it again because they are back.

It really depends on your camera and it's settings. The lower the resolution, and the higher the compression setting, the more pictures will fit on your card. That aside, the range is very large; it will fit between 1,200 and 62,000 depending on your setup. Pretty dramatic huh. And actually, if you were shooting on a Digital SLR or even on the new Canon Powershot G10, while shooting in RAW mode, it could be as little as 300 pictures. So as you can see, without details, it's hard to be precise in my answer.

If you read the Nook Color user guide you will find the picture (Gallery) and music apps in the "extras" folder. The directions are not as specific as they should be, however, I have successfully downloaded my own photos into the Gallery where you will also find some preloaded wallpapers. Here is what I did. Connect the usb cable to the NC and to the computer. Find the pictures you want to transfer, copy them. Open "MY Computer" and you should see the NC as a drive. In XP on my computer it was labeled "Media". I just dropped (pasted) the pictures I copied into the drive and will wonders never cease, they are in the Gallery folder. Once in that folder you can rotate them or delete them. Make a slideshow or choose one to be your new wallpaper. I got a message about Roxio which is a program on my computer and perhaps there is an easier way to do this through Roxio, but for now I am a happy camper. The user guide also tells you what files your NC supports. For example, I found there is no reason to make my Word docs into PDF files, the NC supports doc. Same transfer process or transfer them as PDF through Adobe Digital Edition.

Most digital cameras eat batteries, so if your camera uses "AA" batteries, you might wish to invest in a charger and rechargable batteries. I've been a photographer for over 50 years, and I hope this explanation hasn't been too "Wordy".

To download fonts for Corel Paint Shop Pro you can go to any of your favorite font websites and download the font you like. Most downloads are compressed in a zipped format. You will need to extract the font from the compressed zip file. I will take you through the steps of this.

# Open the compressed zipped file. # Locate Extract or Export. You must choose the destination for this font. # The destination to to extract this font to is your c:windows\fonts folder. # Open the program to use your new font. If the font is not listed in your fonts list you can try this tip. Go to your windows fonts folder. Locate the font. Double click on it to open it up in the windows font viewer. It depends . Theoretically and mathematically the standard JPG100 (100% quality and 24 bit per pixel) at 6 Millions Pixels (100% quality and 24 bit per pixel) has 1.6 MB so your 2 GB card will contain approx. 1250 photos.

since computers can only store binary numbers, all computer data has to be in
digital format. Images, sounds, video etc. all have to be digitized before they can be processed by a computer.

It depends on how the images are encoded and the quality of the image. If they are JPEGs at high quality, then they will be around 4 megabytes each, so you would get around 4000 images on such a card.

If they are all by themselves in an old folder, you simply need to hit the Control (Ctrl) and the "A" key together, which will select all of the files in the current folder. Right click any of the selected files, and hit "cut" then navigate to the new folder in question. Right click the white space in the new folder and hit "paste"

If the pictures AREN'T all by themselves, everything in the above will work, save hitting (Ctrl) and "A" You will need to hold down (Ctrl) and click each picture until you have all of the files you needed to move selected, then right click any of the selected files, and hit "cut", navigate to the new folder, right click, and hit paste agian.

It is wordy, but the process really is only a couple easy steps.
