What does it mean when you don't have a dream in your sleep?
Not remembering a dream does not necessarily mean you didn't dream. It is common for people to have dreams but not recall them upon waking up. Factors like sleep pattern, stress levels, and overall health can affect dream recall.
What are the differences between Deja Vu ESP and Precognitive dreams?
Deja Vu ESP is the feeling of having experienced the present situation before, often associated with extrasensory perception. Precognitive dreams involve dreaming of future events or experiences before they happen. Both phenomena suggest a connection beyond normal perception, but Deja Vu ESP occurs in waking moments while precognitive dreams happen during sleep.
Deja vu is not considered a psychic power. It is a phenomenon where a person feels like they have experienced the present situation before, even though it is unfamiliar. The exact cause of deja vu is not fully understood, but it is believed to be a memory-related phenomenon rather than a psychic ability.

What does it mean if your friend dreams that you get proposed by your crush?
Really, it doesn't mean much. It could have been your friend was just thinking about that crush of yours that day for any reason. dreams are just random pieces of something that you think about in your subconscious mind or conscious mind. dreams happen when youre in a deep sleep, and your brain just pieces ramdon things together to make up a ridulous story. my friend recently had a dream of riding purple mushrooms like a horse over to an anime character recently, and it was because she had horseback riding that day and she was watching anime that day so basically, it could mean nothing, or something, you never know.
On The Mentalist what does the note that was left by red john for Patrick say?
"Dear Mr Jane, I do not like to be slandered in the media, especially by a dirty, money-grubbing fraud. If you were a real psychic, instead of a dishonest little worm, you wouldn't need to open the door to see what I've done to your lovely wife and child." Does deja vu mean your physhic?
i think so. according to scientists we use 10% of the potential of our brain. not 10% of its total mass. we have a lot of untapped resources that when wired right or given the right stimulus can be a very powerful thing. so i believe everyone has a little something to grow into. some people may be more "in tune" that others but dont go trying to predict the future for a living...my 2 cents
What happens if you dont do what you're daja vu foretold?
If you don't do what your deja vu foretold, nothing specific will happen. Deja vu is simply the feeling of having experienced a current situation before, but it does not have any predictive power or influence on the future. It's up to you to decide how to proceed based on your own judgment and circumstances.
What do you call a person who daydreams?
Usually a daydreamer. On occasion they are referred to as Walty Mitty characters.
because your body shuts down when it sleeps, when you are having a nightmare or dreaming and it feels so real it is because everything that your are dreaming in your brain, your brain passes everything your dreaming through your body to make you feel everything.
Is Deja Vu real Have you all been here before?
yes i have.... once when i was watching t.v, a commercial came on for the water horse. I kept asking my sister if there was a movie just like this and she said no. But i remember Perfectly there was a movie exactly like that a year ago or something like that. I always have deja vu for movies and occasionally reality.
Could some dreams once in a while possibly mean something or are trying to tell you something?
MOST DREAMS DO HAVE A MEANING AND IF YOU TELL ME A SPECIFIC DREAM I COULD TRY TO ACHEIVE THE REALITY FROM IT. DREAMS INVOLVING A WOLF/SNAKE/PANTHER OR MYSTICAL BEAST CAN MEAN THAT SOMETHING BAD IS JUST AROUND THE CORNER BUT DREAMS WITH FISH/SHEEP OR OTHER CHEERFULL CUTE ANIMALS CAN MEAN DIFFERENT. DREAMS WITH AN ANIMAL DYING OR ATTACKING YOU CAN MEAN THAT MOMENTS OF DISTRESS AND ANGUISH ARE TO COME.BUT IF YOUR DREAMS DON'T INNVOLE ANY TYPE OF ANIMAL OR HUMAN THEN IT IS HARD TO SAY WHAT IS TO COME. IT COULD BE GREAT OR IT WILL BE THE COMPLETE OPPOSITE! BUT IF YOU FEEL YOUR DREAMS HAVE A MEANING, AND YOU CAN REMENBER THEM, THEN WRITE THEM DOWN AND LOOK CLOSLY AT THE NUMBERS AND WHAT IS HAPPENINGTO ANY OF THE ANIMALS OR HUMANS AND SEE IF YOU CAN RELATE IT TO SMETHING IN PAST. IF NOT THEN BEWARE OF THE FUTURE!
What is an example of a California Psychological Inventory question?
The CPI consists of 434 self-report true/false questions, and generally takes about 1/2-1 hour to complete.
An example of some questions are:
"All food tastes the same."
"Every American should vote, it is their obligation."
The questions are worded in a "folk-concept" fashion (looks like it's from the 1950's). The questions are designed to measure personality characteristics such as Dominance, Self-Acceptance, Empathy, Responsibility, and Self Control, other validity scales, etc.
Dreams are formed within the subconscious mind, using material from just about anything the dreamer has heard, seen or done. Activities and impressions from the previous day are the most common material for dreaming, especially something viewed or read immediately before sleeping. But dreams also draw from childhood and infancy, and psychologists have explored theories of racial and ancestral memories with the possibility of a universal unconscious from which significant dream images arise.
The quote "Some people dream of worthy accomplishments; others stay awake and do them" is by Diana Ross.
honestly sleeping posistion will not really impact what you will dream about it depends on what you think about before you go to bed and which side of the brain its more directed to.
Sometimes people dream about their problems that their facing in daily life, or your phobia or issues that dwell on your suconscious mind. Personally I find it very interesting that dreams are like metaphors or your feelings.
I dream vividly every night, and I tend to remember exact quotes, and physical attributes of objects. My bed is in the corner of my room, such that one side faces a wall, and the other is close to a window. I tend to find dreams where I am facing the window (brighter) to be less vivid, and overall happier. When I dream facing the wall, they are dark, surreal, extremely strange and just generally f'ed up. To me, that suggests the light level you are experiencing impacts the mood of your dreams.
It might be because the left side of your brain is the creative side--or so I've been told--and the right side is the analytic side. I don't know if that would have any influence, having more pressure on either side, to dream more creatively or logical, but that's my guess.
Does the side you sleep on influence your dreams?
E.g. I noticed that when I sleep on my right cheek, my dreams tend to be more logical and analytical, whereas they tend to be more creative and full of fantasy when I sleep on my left cheek.
From Ttrocks14: I used to sleep on my left cheek and my dreams were ridiculous and crazy, like a red unicorn with chocolate hooves in a world made entirely of candy (i swear i dreamed about that); now i always sleep on my front with the covers over my head and that gives me more control over my dreams like a lucid dream. real people from my life are more present too, but sometimes objects can be wildly odd or out of proportion.
Why do you dream in your sleep?
They say you dream because your brain is processing everything that has happened throughout your day. You sleep in cycles and one part of the cycle includes R.E.M. Sleep. R.E.M. means "Rapid Eye Movement"-- basically your eyes are moving fast. At this point you are deep enough in your sleep to dream. So you are always dream, it is just that you remember the very last dream you had before you wake.
Answer
It is not known exactly why humans dream but one theory is that dreams represent our subcouncouis.
It sounds like you may have experienced sleep paralysis, a phase where you are partially awake but unable to move or speak. This can be accompanied by feelings of pressure, fear, or a sense of a presence in the room. It is a common and usually temporary experience, often linked to stress or disrupted sleep patterns. If it persists or causes distress, consider talking to a healthcare professional for further guidance.
Yes, dreams can come true if you are referring to hopes and aspirations. You just believe in yourself, get the best education possible and work hard. Don't listen to anyone else who tries to discourage you. Listen to those who have achieved what you want to achieve and follow their example.
How many hours on average does a person dream in a lifetime?
on average you sleep 9 hours a day
and there is 365 days a year
so 9 X 365 = 3285 hours a year
and you live for approximately 60 years
so on average you sleep for 197100 hours in 60 years !
Although at first glance these two dreams appear to be a remarkable coincidence, on further investigation you probably would find that they are not all that surprisingly similar. Only knowing that both dreams refer to someone (you or your mother) dying, the manner and reasons of the dreamed deaths may be very different. One dream might involve a tragic, grief-filled loss while the other might reflect welcome relief from suffering, or a glorious self-sacrifice for a noble cause. However, there might be other factors. Our memory of dreams is amazingly fluid, and hearing your mother describe her dream could effect the way you remembered your own dream, and vice versa. So there is no cause for concern; these dreams do not predict imminent death. It is much more likely that both dreams refer to a significant change that is about to occur in your family. See the link below for more information and examples.
What does it mean when you dream of people dying right before they happen?
Not much. Perhaps it was a coincidence, or perhaps they were headed that way. Dreams reflect hopes and fears. There is a saying in journalism: "If you didn't write it down, it didn't happen." This is said to remind people that your memory of dreams and even real events is flawed, so keep a notebook if this sort of thing is interesting to you. Just telling the story again and again tells nothing.
I have researched this phenomena quite a bit though I do not practice medicine I believe it is still somewhat of a mystery. Some people dream and some do not. Alot of people can actually hear their surroundings while in the coma state which can be incorporated into their dream. One man had been in a coma for two months after a car accident and his wife inquired about the experience, he said his dreams were extremely lucid, like a parallel existence. In fact, he was heard by the staff to actual yell seemingly random things out, but when he came to they later deciphered that he was expressing himself in his 'dream' and as people talk in their sleep so did he. One of his comments was about a baseball player trade, while in his coma the tv in his room was on that announced the trade, this angered him and caused him to not only dream about his reactions but comment on the subject without being conscious of it.
