How do you set the timing on an eagle vision?
Visions were produced from 1993 to 1997 and came in two engine sizes; the 3.3 liter and 3.5 liter. This answer applies to the 3.5 liter engine.
Setting the timing on Chrysler's Eagle Vision 3.5L engine is a real dream. The engine has two camshaft sprockets (the 3.5 is an SOHC engine) total, one each on the left and right side. There is a white dimpled timing mark on each sprocket.
Now, on the rear timing belt cover you'll find two white dimpled marks. Simply align the camshaft sprockets with the marks on the covers, i.e. align the camshaft dot somewhere in between the two white dots on the cover. Your camshaft gears are now set.
The next step is to set the front crankshaft sprocket correctly for top dead center (TDC). This couldn't be easier. There is a TDC indicator stamped into the rear timing belt cover, right above the crankshaft sprocket. It's easily seen. The crankshaft sprocket itself has a little pointed nub on it that you align with the TDC indicator. Simply turn the crankshaft sprocket until the nub lines up under the TDC indicator and you're set.
When replacing the timing belt (3.5's have belts and 3.3's have chains), remember to install it counterclockwise starting at the crankshft pulley. Also, as a matter of practicality, whenever you replace the timing belt you should replace the water pump too.
Its the fuse and if not its the fuse Boxs. by the cluch or brake peddle.
What type of oil in 97 Eagle Vision 3.5?
5W30 was the standard oil recommended by Chrysler when this sports sedan was in production. However, you should adjust this based on the climate you're driving in, and the amount of wear on the engine.
A 0W engine oil is preferred when the car is started in cold climates. A heavier viscosity oil such as *40 may work better in an engine that's seen alot of mileage or has alot of wear.

How do i change Eagle vision water pump?
for the 3.5L you must do the following:
remove the battery
take off the support bar thing for the hood
drain your radiator (drain valve located on the passenger side bottom of the radiator)
remove the upper rad hose
you can remove your electric fans if you think you'll need more room, easy, 4 bolts and 1 electrical plug to unhook
loosen and remove your serpentine and A/C belts
remove serpentine belt tensioner pulley
remove the 3 peice timing belt cover, the bottom 3 bolts can be accessed through the spokes of the lower crank pulley
rotate the timing belt using the crank pulley until the marks on the camshaft gears line up with the 2 dots above the gears. the same goes for the crank pulley, there should be 2 marks stamped into the metal that line up
you'll have to go underneath the car to unbolt 2 bolts holding the timing belt tensioner. which you will have to use a vice grip to re-tension and then slip a small nail or Alan key through the little hole to hold it
now that your timing belt is loose you'll want to check it because it might need replacing and this is the best time to (it can be slipped under the crank pulley
the water pump is located in the center of the timing belt relay, held on by 3 bolts, unscrew these and remove the pump, clean out the chamber and where the gasket will go, put the new pump in, make sure the gasket goes in nicely, tighten bolts,
put the timing belt back on, be very careful to keep everything in line, you might need help with this, when you have everything hand tight, have the tensioner put back on underneath and when you've double double checked it will be in time, "release the grenade" and it will tension,
put the covers back on (making sure to replace the gasket or re applying gasket maker)you can bend the bottom of the main cover a bit so it slips in easier, don't worry it will bend back once you tighten the screws
put the belts back on, check for cracked belts (good time to replace :p )
put the fans back in
put the upper rad hose back on, re-fill the radiator (new fluid if old stuff was crap)
replace the hood bar, put the battery back in, start your engine, hopefully your engine is in time or you'll have to repeat everything
