In our German class, we wrote letters to the administration because the teacher didn't teach us anything. The teacher wasn't fired, but got moved to English instead.

He or she need to know math reading and writing and the CAN NOT have a temper problem.

Well, this rarely happens, however it has happened. I can't truthfully say kids can fall "in love" with a teacher, persay, they may just take a special liking to them, or feel lustful. Because you only know this teacher in one place and in one state of mind, you don't truly know them, therefore it probably isn't true love. However, I'm pretty sure most teachers don't mind it, but if they find out it is unlikely they will confront you.

Date whoever you want. As long as your with someone who makes you feel comfortable, happy & alive. But be aware of the possibilty that you may be looked upon as someone who has no clue what theyre getting themselvs into. Yes, to some, dating teachers may be awkward cause of the age difference, but oh well. It's the person you like, not everybody else right ? Therefore it shouldn't even be a question. A teacher may confiscate personal belongings, particularly if school rules or classroom rules state certain items must not be brought to school. If a student is allowed a particular item but continues to play with the item, distracting him/herself and others from classroom instruction, then the teacher is perfectly within his/her rights to remove that object. * However * the teacher is not permitted to keep the item permanently. Some items should be returned directly to the student's parents and some items should be held in the principal's office for safekeeping. The student whose items have been removed bears the responsibility of courteously negotiating a time when his or her things may be returned.

Maths can help you out in money in shops (you can become a successful shop accountant, bank accountant etc.)

English helps you with your daily communicating skills (you can become a successful lawyer etc.) English made people writters like JK Rowling, Roald Dhal etc.

Science helps you with your whole life pretty much. When you water plants, make a cup of tea, freezing food, washing hands due to Bacteria etc. (you could become a scientist, doctor, chemist) Science made people like Einstein etc.

Extra languages mean more communication with the people in different countries (transulators) etc.

Even if you don't want a job you need to have some sort of knowledge of the world.

Occasionally, a teacher will take an acute dislike to a student for no noticeable reason. Think back over the time you have spent with the teacher, keeping in mind any instances where you may have been in any way disruptive to the class. If no such incidents exist, or if they are very seldom and mild in their nature, it is probably best to take the issue up with the teacher with a third party present (a parent, another teacher, etc.). The next step would be to contact the school's administration, possibly to request a transfer to another teacher.

Absolutly nothing! Nothing but determination that is. Nobody likes to school and their will be hard times with your child! They won't want to wake up or won't want to do the work, but if you get through those times you will find a lot of joy in homeschooling!

My mom homeschools me and she didn't get that great of an education. She was shy and didn't ask the teacher when she didn't understand, because of this she only went to 2 years of collage. Then left because it was to hard, my mom didn't have the base to learn collage level topics.

The great thing about homeschool is that their is no better way to learn other then to teach it yourself! My mom always wished she could go back and learn what she missed. Now she can and did.

All you will do is choose a program, we use Sonlight Corricilum. This is a Christian based schooling program, but their are others out their to. You will simply order books based on the grade level and sonlight will send you a schedule with what to do on what day! Then just sit your child down and read the books! All that's required is that you understand yourself what he's learning. If you understand it you can reword it, and help him to understand too.

When a child goes into 6th grade they will start to do some stuff on their own, and as time passes more and more will be put on them. This is actually a good thing because it is a great skill to be able to teach yourself! At about 9th grade they will be doing it all themselves. But you are still their teacher. If you go with sonlight they will send you a book of prewritten questions that you can ask your child that will alow you to check if he is doing it and learning it!

You will still need to do spelling with him and I recommend that you order "Teaching Text Books" for his Math. Teaching text books is a computer program that both shows it on the screen for visual learners and plays audio for audiable learners. The program also has the answers for questions on a CD with step by step explenations of how to do it. Meaning that if he gets it wrong, he can just play the CD and figure out why.

You don't need anything besides shear determination to teach you child. Because it all happened with me and all my brothers. We hated to get up and school, everyone does. And since we didn't need to get up for the bus, we usually didn't (the only bad thing about home school). For these times are mom needed to be a mom and a teacher, and get us up and going. It was hard but she succeeded. And I couldn't be happier to be a home schooled kid!
