I think it depends on how early you are in pregnancy. I took 10tests which all were negative even though I knew I am pregnant before the HgC levels were high enough to indicate pregnancy via test. You can usually get an accurate reading about 1-2weeks pregnant with a good test such as Clearblue digital (I used this which indicated I was 1-2weeks pregnant) and I'm not 4weeks pregnant and registered with the midwife. Yes you can. I'm 18 and 3 months pregnant. I was starting off with my regular periods but, out of the blue my periods just stopped for 6 months I took a home pregnancy test(hpt) it came out negative. So I went to the doctor to get a blood test done and found out I was 3 MONTHS PREGO I asked my doctor why did I have a negative result and it was because my hcg levels were not high enough for the hpt to detect the pregnancy. Defanitly. not all pregnancy tests are valid. it could be because of the experasion date, if yu take the test to early before ur missed period, if yu pee to much or not enough. If yu take more then one test and they all come out faint i advise yu to take a free walk in pregnancy test at a clinic just to be safe.
