For instance, I saw this on the news and one boy never went to the dentist in his life and he was like 12. He had a bad cavity and it went to his head. Yup that's right I said it.His HEAD. So if you have a cavity and you've had it a while, get it fixed ASAP. If you just got it don't sweat it. It takes a while for them to erupt and you'll probably have an appointment coming up. What salt does is absorb the water from wounds and pimples, which keeps bacteria from growing.

It's a bit painful, and is good for keeping a cut from getting infected, but it doesn't usually speed healing time. And I definitely would not put it on anything larger than a cut. Hydrogen peroxide is easier to work with on larger wounds and does the same thing.

Abrasion is where flowing water picks up rocks and moves them along in it's current. It can cause damage to the side of rivers (Lateral Erosion) as well as the riverbed (Vertical Erosion).

Abrasion can also be defined a lot simpler by just saying "When waves throw rocks up at cliffs" etc. This is not to be confused with Attrition though.

Not entirely sure what you're asking but since I'm an EMT I'll try to answer it anyway.

When a spinal injury is possible do NOT perform a head-tilt/chin-lift or use a nasopharyngeal airway to open the patient's airway. Do NOT put them in a recovery position as it can result in irreversible damage. DO use an oropharyngeal airway and/or the jaw-thrust maneuver while keeping them in the Supine position to open the airway and take spinal precautions to minimize the risk of further spinal damage.

A splint is long enough that it will go far enough past the break on both sides to allow you to secure it. Giving an exact measurement isn't a good thing because all splints are different - a splint for a broken finger is quite a bit shorter than a splint for a broken leg.
