There have been varieties of goldfish developed that do not have a dorsal fin but in nature, I believe all fish have a dorsal fin. Of course there could be a species or two that have evolved without one but if so I am unaware of them.

Why is my betta sitting at the bottom of the tank and why is he losing color?
If you read the basic rules of fishkeeping and comply with them your fish should live to around 2 years old. My advice for now is to do a water change ASAP. The basic rules are :- 1 inch of fish needs at least 1 gallon of water (a Betta needs at least 3 gallons. 10gallons is better). :- Every tank needs a permanently running cycled filter. Every tank needs at least 50% of its water replaced every week.. A Betta likes a pH of around 6.8 and a temperature of around 78F. They should be fed as much as they can eat in 15 minutes every morning and evening. Never ever leave uneaten food in the tank. It will putrefy and poison the water resulting in sick or dead fish.

Fish are able to breath under water why and why vcant humans?

In the Pacific Northwest, this is how we do a fish grill. Our fish grills will usually correspond with the end of our fish runs. We will either dig a fire pit and place a large grill over the coals or we use many charcoal grills. Friends and family will bring fish that they have prepared their favorite way, and side dishes A pot luck of sorts. We grill the fish and enjoy good food, good drink, and good company. This is our fish grill. Fish grills take place all over the world. I have been able to enjoy them in Hawaii, Japan, and the Canada. They are each prepared and grilled a little differently, but the outcomes are always the same. Good times. If you have a chance to pull one off, you won't be disappointed.
