HID means High Intensity Discharge and is a modern form of lighting in which a compact arc is used as the source of light. They are more efficient that halide lamps.
How did the flashlight impact other peoples life?
it made them see if there was no light or electricity.
How far does light travel from a flashlight during the day?
The distance light from a flashlight can travel during the day is technically unlimited in a vacuum, but in practical terms, it is significantly reduced due to sunlight and atmospheric scattering. During daylight, the bright ambient light can overpower the flashlight's beam, making it difficult to see beyond a few meters. In clear conditions, the beam may still travel several kilometers, but its visibility diminishes rapidly in the presence of sunlight.
Why does concave mirror use in flashlight and vehicles?
It concentrates the light so it penetrate the farthest distance.
How long do 3 AAA batteries last in a flashlight?
The lifespan of 3 AAA batteries in a flashlight depends on various factors such as the capacity of the batteries, the power consumption of the flashlight, and the usage pattern. On average, standard alkaline AAA batteries have a capacity of around 1000-1200 mAh each. If the flashlight consumes 100 mA of current, the batteries could last approximately 10-12 hours. However, if the flashlight has a higher power consumption, the batteries may last for a shorter period.
Can you shine your flashlight into a police officers eyes?
I don't see why not. They often will shine it in your eyes and get away with it because they insist it "causes no harm or injury". Being that you pay their salary, I'd say it's perfectly fine to shine a light in their eyes. Hey, it's not like it caused any "harm or injury". Just an innocent little light. You have a right to check them out and make sure you can see who you're dealing with.

How are flashlights used today?
many things but the number 1 answer is to use it in the dark so you can see
This could be either a very small sized butane torch for soldering and related low-heat metal fusing tasks ( not strictly speaking welding, no helmets needed)- or what we in this country generally call a penlight flashlight- many are variable focus and produce very little heat and can be comfortably held in the hand at all times ( though this would block the beam) quite an engineering feat compared with hot-headed incandescent bulbs of say l00 watts. the British prefer the term Torch to flashlight for some odd reason , though they do market the Ever-ready brand of flashlights and requisite batteries.
Where can you get a husky battery dmu6-3 for a flashlight?
Unfortunately those batteries were discontinued.
They were made for the Huskey hand held spotlight and they have since changed designs and battery styles (Spell that "Planned Obsolescence") your best bet is find a local hobby store that does R/C cars and planes. most of those guys build and/or repair Lithium battery packs for customers, see if they will put together a 6 volt pack using rechargeable AA size with a pigtail that will connect to your set-up. It will be a hair smaller and will require some additional foam padding to keep it secure
This does not have the longevity of the lead acid original, but makes it serviceable, or, if your handy and knowledgeable about balanced charging battery packs you can put one together using an old dewalt or milwaukee "A" style batteries from one of there lithium style packs which fit nicely into the space of the old DMU style.
But, And I can't stress this enough, don't attempt that unless your familiar with that style of pack as lithium batteries are somewhat temperamental to heat and are unforgiving if assembled wrong
The potential difference across the bulb in a flashlight should be slightly lower than the terminal voltage of the batteries used to power the flashlight. This is because there is a small internal resistance in the batteries which causes a voltage drop across it.
Why do flashlights have different lens colors?
The red filter protects your night vision. Under low-light or no-light conditions using white light can impair your night vision for up to a full hour. Using a red-lens drops the affects of this down considerably normally taking only a few minutes to re-adjust.
The Blue Filter is used primarily for tracking blood. Blood will "glow" under blue light and allows hunters/military/forensics to track trails of blood.
The Green Filter is used when you need more light but don't want others seeing you as easily. Green difusses much quicker than the other colors so it is not as easy to see from a distance.
In Mystery Case Files MillionHeir where do you find the other flashlight?
You don't look for another flashlight, you look for a battery for the flashlight you already have. You have to look for the battery on the Dusty's Stage scene. Hope this helps!
A flashlight battery is an example of what scientific word?
alkaline charge. batteries are basic, as opposed to acidic.
How do you make a waterproof flashlight?
Make a plastic mould around it that covers the whole flashlight and no holes. This only applies to the flash lights that have a button to be pressed...
Is it harmful to shine a flashlight onto fetus?
ya know i meant shine the light through the skin on my stomach
A ultrasound is exacty how it sounds. It sends out waves of sounds that bounces around your stomach and bumps into matter which then turns around and produces a picture for you. A laser light/flash light is used to light up space and is measured in sight not sound. If you stick a flashlight/laser light down a long dark tunnel it will only go so far as light can only be seen to a certain distance which is measured in how much power is produced. Yet, if you lets say put a light upto something that is not opaque and is hard to see thru as it is you won't be able to get the light to go thru the other side. Sound and Sight are completely different as you can see. (Disclaimer: I am not a scientist, this is just what I have accumulated in knowledge over the year"s".)
