it is more than likely transmission fluid, or power steering fluid. open your hood and use a flashlight look down into the engine compartment and see if you can see a leak.

It means there's something wrong in the blower circuit, maybe a bad motor. Hook it directly to the battery to find out.

Mostly correct...but there are three parts to negotiating a curve; brake up to it, coast thru it, accelerate out of it. Your sight path should be ahead and to the OUTSIDE edge of the curve. You are looking at the point where your car would run out of the lane. As your progress thru the curve, your eyes "roll" forward also, always sighting to the outside. This results in maintaining center-of-lane travel, as well as enough forward observation to see, and react to, hazards.

I had similar problem. After paying $40 for a "diagnosis" by a local shop, was told the cluster is bad. Googled and found a UK forum with thousands complaining about Ford Focus clusters. The problem seemed to be the same for all owners, and it's corroded PCB (printed circuit board). Did what that forum suggested. It worked!!!

How to fix it:

1. Buy a electronic contact cleaner ($5) from pepboy

2. Disconnect battery

3. Take out the instrument cluster. Need to disconnect two cables. Took a couple of minutes to disconnect the second, the black thing is the key. Needs loosen 7 bolts first, then loosen additional 5 to expose the PCB.

4. Spray PCB the hell of it.

5. Bring in home and dry overnight

6. Re-install cluster

7. Re-connect batery cable.

8. Done!

There is a little door on the passenger side in the kick panel.

It's due to the car over heating and it's usually because of cheap anti freeze or too much water in the mixture.

(Probably a clogged radiator or a bad thermostat, too much water or "cheap anti-freeze" has nothing to do with it. They don't make "cheap" anti freeze. Anti-freeze is just that... anti-freeze!)

The ground clearance of the 2007 Ford Focus is 0 ft. 6.2 in. (6.2 in.).

Sounds like a combustion issue I recently had on a 2000 Focus V4 hatchback. Try replacing the air filter, and fuel filter, then maybe a basic Tune-up, before doing any expensive diagnostics. Like catalytic converter testing.

The Legislature.

#64 is a 30A fuse in the fuse/relay box under the hood, on the driver's side, by the firewall.

Either it's too loose or you need a new belt.

When you first start off in your vehicle, it runs fine, then it starts acting like it's running out of gas, which, technically, it is. Because the gas (fuel) cannot pass the filter to the engine.

I had this problem in my 2004 focus. You have to get a dealership to replace the ignition switch altogether.

tighten up nut,and back it off 2 turns- should be able to get a bit of motion if you push and pull,be sure to pack bearings with proper grease

My 2008 Focus has a lifetime air filter installed and is not meant to be replaced.

i just popped the one on my grandfather's 08 focus out no problem. follow the intake tube down in front of the driver's side headlight. 3 metal clips pop back, then you have to slide the whole top half (the bit the intake tube is connected to) back towards the cabin of the car. don't pry it, it will break. a bit of patience and it will pop right out. replacement filters start about $15usd (motorcraft) and go up to about $50usd (k&n).
