As of March 15, 2010, the cost to replace a key for my Ford Fusion is $190.00. This includes the cost of cutting the new key and programming it for use.

It's in the center console of the vehicle... or arm rest.

Many things including: worn spark plugs, ignition coils, burnt wiring, bad tires' worn frontend parts, wheel alignment and tire pressure. I learned this weekend that a faulty engine coolant thermostat, if stuck open, will give you poor mileage. The coolant sensor will indicate the coolant isn't heating properly and will make the computer enrich the air/fuel mixture. The way I found that mine was stuck open was: check engine light on, drop in fuel economy by 2-3 miles per gallon, and the water temp gauge was reaching operating temp slower than normal

Chilton repair manuals for the Ford Fusion 2006 will show someone with mechanical experience how to repair the regulator. It would be best to take the vehicle to a mechanic if the owner does not have mechanical experience. This will insure that the regulator is repaired properly.

I am assuming you want to remove this to view the factory code of the keyless entry module. Start on the passangers side. use a thin metal puty knife. insert the blade between the dash and vent cover and cafefully pry up. the cover is held on by spring clips on the back (dash) side and tabs on the front (windsheild side). work your way across the dash until the entire back side of the vent has been freed. Lift the cover up and back to remove

pop hood, theyll be little rubber circle cover on top of each side where youd think the back of the headlight would be...the right side will be easier, or the left side when youre looking at it from the front. Just twist the whole socket a little bit either way, itll slide out and then just unplug/plug back in the new bulb.. putting it in is the hardest part, look through the light when you put it back in and align the slots then turn either way until it locks...do on both sides,

As long as they are the same size then they are interchangable.

It will be a metric size. Try different sizes until you hit upon the correct size.
