1. Open the glove box.

2. Push the side walls of the glove box inward so the rubber stops clear the sides of the dash.

3. Detach the retractable string form the glove box The string will retract but is accessible for reattaching.

4. The glove box will hing open completely providing access to the cabin filter cover.

5. Insert a screwdriver in the two slots at each end of the access door and pull out. The right side is in a tight spot and may require a little effort to release. The right release tab can also be reached from under the dash and can be squeezed together with the fingers to release the door tab.

6. Once the filter door is removed, reach in with your fingers and fold the right side of the paper tab at the top of the filter and work the filter out. The filter needs to be pulled downward on the right side to get past the string retractor.

7. To insert the filter the right side paper tab again needs to be folded down and maneuvered past the tube.

8. Reinstall the glove box by pushing the sides inward so the stops clear, reattach the retractable string, close the door.

Note: Best price for the filter is at NAPA auto parts. The filter is under $10.00 and the NAPA part number is fil 4367.

Non-navigation radios can utilize the PAC AOEM-FRD24 module. I have it in mine, gives proper 4-channel preamp output.

remove the plastic ring around the button you push on the shifter to switch gears, the car thinks it's still in drive and won't release the key. The ring removal will release it, but the actual fix involves replacing the whole shifter...

NOT made in USA. The 2010 Ford Fusion is built in Mexico at Ford's Hermosillo assembly plant. The Fusion has been assembled at the Hermosillo facility since the midsize sedan's introduction as a 2006 model.

Just change one on my sons 96 jimmy. First on the inside door were you grab it to close the door remove the oblong plastic plate by poping it up. There will be 2 little bolts to remove. Then pull the door panel back until the plastic pins come free. You will see were the wire comes in from mirror. Unplug the wire and remove the 3 rubber plugs. take a socket and remove 3 nuts. Be careful not to drop the nut down inside thr door. remove the mirror and replace it . You will need 2 people to help. Sound like a big job but i took my time and had it off in 15 minutes. Just take your time.

The Toyota Pruis has the best gas milage out of all the hybrid cars. The Honda Civis Hybrid, Ford Fusion Hybrid and Nissan Altima also have very good gas milage.

Normally they will last the life of the engine and are replaced during an engine rebuild.

I have the 3.5 liter V6... and i average 27 combined MPG... but on the long highway trips i average in the mid 30's..

By the handle is a small round cap. Pop that off. Remove the T15 screw.

Going along the border of the door, there's a T15 screw near the window (same height as the door handle) and another on the bottom. In the hand-pull, possibly under a little piece of vinyl, is a 7mm bolt. Then use a trim puller along the edges to remove the clips holding the door panel on. The top couple, you'll need to just pull it off. It's easy to break the tabs though.

Once the door panel is off, it's a single 10mm bolt to remove the handle.
