Timing marks for twin cam 1.6L B6 engine. When crank pulley is at TDC on the compression stroke, 'E' & 'I' on the camshaft pulleys should be at 12 o'clock. Too easy.

Most usual reason is the ignition module in the distributor, or it could be the float needle sticking if it is the carby model.

There are three progressive tightening steps when setting the torque on the cylinder head bolts on the 1987 - 1994 Ford Bantam 1.3 Rocam . The first step is 50 - 55 ft. lbs. (68 - 75 Nm). The second step is 60 - 65 ft. lbs. (81 - 88 Nm). The third and final step is 70 - 85 ft. lbs. (95 - 115 Nm)

Saludos, abre la tapa del maletero, en el faro encontraras 2 tornillos del lado contrario de su posicion, es decir, si el faro es del lado derecho los tornillos estan del lado izquierdo; acontinuacion de haberlos retirado, quita el faros y tendras acceso a la bombilla, saludos.

It depens on the condition & km's on the engine. It the engine is in good nick ie: doesn't blow smoke or no oil consumption probs then a good quality 15w40 oil would do fine (valvoline engine armour etc).

If the motor is high mileage ie 200,000kms+ a semi-synthetic 15w50 (shell high mileage) or a quality 20w50 mineral oil will be fine.

Change the oil & filter every 5,000kms or 3 months.

More then likely in the Gas Tank itself, esp if the car is Fuel Injected.

Remove the two pins going through the pads. Pull out the old pads, push in the piston and install new pads, replace pins with the clips.

You will find the petrol pump just behind the rocket cover, it is bolted to the head of the motor just to the right of the Air Filter. It has two Brass Cylinder shaped caps on top. Blade1: South Australia

Fire order is 1342. The ignition timing on a 1.3 and 1.5 motor is 6deg BTDC+-1deg. B6 motor is 2deg BTDC +-1deg..Chris

You have to remove the speedo cable on a manual and fill it there, or if automatic you fill it through the dipstick tube.. The correct level on manual should be just above the white gear.

The crankshaft cog has a mark that lines up with the back housing for No.1 TDC. The cam cog has two marks that are put in the 3 o'clock position, the one at 12 o'clock lines up with the center mark on the front of the cam cover.

Probably 4.5 Qts. Park on level surface. Drain the oil and change the filter. Add 4 quarts, and start the engine. Run for 1 minute, and shut it down. Wait 1 hour and check the level, and add as necessary. You now know how much is correct.

No you will have to get a dip stick to suit the 99 laser go to a wreckers and tell them the year and what type of engine is in the car cheers colin

You will find a yellow dipstick handle to the right of the motor, that's where you put in the trans. fluid. Behind that, almost at the engine firewall, you will find a two-and-a-half inch round cap which is slightly higher than the transmission. That is where you add brake fluid. Just open the cap... fill 'er up! Good luck! To fill the trans the proper way, you need to remove the VSS (Vehicle Speed Sensor). The dipstick tube will work as well but is not as effective when accurately filling the trans as it will give you inaccurate readings when you read the fluid level from the dipstick. It is located near the firewall on the lower part of the trans underneath the starter. It has one sensor clipped into it, and one ten millimeter (10mm) bolt holding it in. Use a long funnel or a funnel with a hose to fill the transmission.

Well, I've got a 1991 kf laser sedan, and my Jack is in the boot/trunk on the right under the corner of carpet is a wood hatch door and in the little compartment is the jack and a small tool set.

On an auto, it's down the dip stick tube. On a manual it goes in the speedo drive hole where it covers the drive teeth and about 5mm above. Don't over fill.

In the boot on the left side under the carpet......under the small flap. If it's a KA, KB, KC,KE. or maybe same later models.

There is an adjustable switch that the pedal operates when pushed. Either the switch is no good, or needs adjustment by loosening the lock nut and screwing in 'till the button clears the pedal.
