I have a 1991 kf laser 1.6L and it is a 'B6-2E' engine and the number is on the block.

In a 2002 Ford Lynx, the radio constant 12v+ wire is black/orange, the ignition switched 12v+ wire is yellow/black, the ground wire is black/light green, the illumination wire is light green, and the amp trigger wire is dark blue. For the front speakers, the left front speaker wire (+) is orange/light green, the left front speaker wire (-) is light blue/white, the right front speaker wire (+) is white/green, and the right front speaker wire (-) is green/orange. For the rear speakers, the left rear speaker wire (+) is gray/light blue, the left rear speaker wire (-) is tan/yellow, the right rear speaker wire (+) is orange/red, and the right rear speaker wire (-) is brown/pink.

Cooling fans don't work all the time, they only come on when the engine has reached certain temperature or it has blown a fuse under the dash .

For the Clutch it could be that the brake fluid is low and you need to bleed out any air in the line for the clutch as the brakes and the clutch use the same reservoir

Take out the distributor.Take off the cap. Take off the rotor. Undo the bolt holding the bob weights. Remove the 2 screws holding the vacumatic advance unit on the outside and manouvre off the advance mechanism inside. Remove the 2 screws holding the bottom assembly. Mark position and remove. Now the module... You will see a small coil surrounding the center spindle,it's attached to the module which is held by 2 screws and 2 wires attached (take care to replace the wires in the same order). Remove the screws and lift out the coil/module. The coil is attached to the module by 2 slide-in contacts. Pull the coil off the module and put it on the replacement module. Be sure to put the heat sink white paste that comes with the new module. Re-assemble.

There should be a little piece of plastic that you just click off in the boot and under that you will see a washer bottle... Just fill it up... Hope this helps

Tire pressures range from 32 psi to 44 psi depending on the tire. The recommended pressure will be stamped on the sidewall some where.

do NOT use the sidewall that is the MAX pressure for other applications use the door jamb info sticker and never inflate a p-rated tire above 35psi regardless of the max listing on the sidewall

Two bolts and hoses. When fitting to KA /KB, the arm on the pump goes UNDER the cam. Later B6 engines the arm goes OVER the cam. If you put the early model over the cam you will break the arm when tightening the bolts, Chris

If you look at your engine where the intake pipe comes into the engine, Right near the intake pipe ontop of the engine the is this black plug that is really easy to see.... Just pull that off and there is a flat head screw there... Just turn that to your likeing...

Note: Make sure your car is on and warm with out your head lights on and no A/C, this is so you get the peak idle.... Hope This Helps

If the globe is fine, then it's probably the buttons that are on the door pillar which open when the door is opened. Look for the black button on each front door pillar. Take out the small screw if it is held by one ( some just push in) and take out the button and the attached wire. Check that it is clean and will make contact when the button is opened. Don't forget there are usually 3 positions on the roof switch.

Hi, if you look in between the manifold you will see it poking out, others go under it and you will see the drop box for the oil, and go back more towards rear of the car and there is a big gap... look up there its poking out, hope that helps

For the Ford KC laser, the 1.6L motor is 2degrees BTDC for both the EFI and carby motors, while the 1.3L is 6degrees BTDC.

For the 1.6L EFI engine, you need to plug the distributor vacuum line, not for any of the others.

They are self adjusting. The wear limit on the drums is only 1mm, and the minimum lining is 1mm, so if you have these limits, the adjusters are on the limit and won't work. However they may be seized.
