Yes, a population is a group of organisms of the same kind that live together and reproduce in a particular place. A species is a group of the same kinds of animals. Ex. The lion population in Kenya.

Why does it flood after a forest fire?
One of the most major reasons for flooding occurring after a forest fire is that all the vegetation that would have slowed and soaked up the majority of the water, has been killed. All of the rainfall simply washes over the dead landscape and empties into waterways at once, something that would never have been able to occur before the fire.
What causes a fire sprinkler to activate?
Ordinary fire sprinklers activate (open) when they get hot enough. They may be equipped with a "frangible-bulb" glass vial, which holds the valve shut until the liquid expands beyond a calibrated volume and bursts the glass. They may have a "fusible link", made from various metals and calibrated to separate (melt) at a given temperature, releasing a spring-valve.
Other specialized sprinkler systems cannot be activated until there is also a smoke or other fire detector trigger that allows pressurized water into the system.
One other special type is called "deluge" and the sprinklers do not have valves at all. When the smoke or fire detector (or manual emergency trigger) goes off, the water will pour from every sprinkler head.
Many TV shows and movies use fictional deluge systems for comedic effects when someone "pulls the fire alarm" and sets off the sprinklers, which would not normally occur in a properly designed system.
If there was no trees will the sun burn people up?

There are close to 2,300 different types of termites in the world, all of which usually live in tropical or subtropical climates. They are usually found in damp, dark and fibrous areas that are not exposed to light.
It will most likely become an oak forest again
Why it rains in tropical climate?
The precipitation is much higher in that climate. So, when all the water evaporates, it goes up into the clouds. When the clouds are full of water, they release the water so it rains. And since there's a large amount of water, it rains much more frequently
How do trees in crowded forest survive?
They try to survive by trying to get as much sunlight and water as possible
Where does the growth in a tree occur?
Trees grow by producing new cells in a very limited number of places. These places of cell division are called meristems. Meristems are zones of intense activity. They are where all new cells are formed and where they expand.
Trees grow in height as a result of meristems that are located at their branch tips. These meristems are called apical meristems. Roots also expand through the soil by growing at their tips as a result of apical meristems. All buds that you see on a tree contain apical meristems. Trunk diameter growth occurs as a result of another meristem already mentioned called the vascular cambium. The vascular cambium produces new xylem and phloem each year and as a result the trunk, branches and roots continue to increase in diameter.
What eats tapir in tropical forest?
In Central and South America, tapir are hunted by animals such as Jaguar, puma, and caiman. In fact, tapir is one of the most important prey species of the jaguar. In Asia, they are hunted by tigers and leopards.
How are nutrients in the trees recycled in the deciduous forest ecosystem?
The leaves fall off the tree. The leaves are then decomposed by bacteria. The nutrients ruturn to the soil just like how you would plant a tree yourself. A new tree will start to grow.
