A Funeral is when a person has died you take them to a church and bury them in a coffin or send them to be cremated which means Being burnt after singing hymns and and reading comments about the dead person after he funeral family and friends usually go to the pub and have a drink together.

Some suitable hymns for a funeral include "Amazing Grace," "How Great Thou Art," "The Old Rugged Cross," and "Abide with Me." These hymns offer comfort and solace to mourners and often reflect themes of faith, redemption, and eternal peace.

Order of service and of course the deceased (usually)!

On the one hand, the pall - one and the same for every dead person - symbolizes the equality of man before God. On the other hand the typical white color of the modern reminds of the white clothes worn during baptism because in Christianity, death is interpreted as the entrance to eternal life.

You can obtain a mass card from a local Catholic church or a religious bookstore. Some funeral homes also provide mass cards for purchase. Additionally, you may be able to order a mass card online from Catholic websites or retailers.

Despite being considered common and inexpensive, carnations still remain as the most widely used flower for any occasion, including funerals. Their frilly petals and rainbow of colours with associated meanings can create gorgeous sprays, tributes and ornaments for both the room and casket.

Typically, your florist has enclosure cards that have either "With Deepest Sympathy" or "In Loving Memory" already printed on the card. You can be as simple as signing the names of the sender(s). Please note, that when addressing the card, usually it's to the deceased if going to the funeral home and to the family if going to the home.

You can put a bible verse that is encouraging, you can express your sympathy or share a memory of the deceased person. You can also put a quote to encourage the grieving loved one.

Roses are considered the most romantic flowers. Red represents love, and yellow means friendship. Although roses are extremely beautiful, there are other flowers that are now becoming very popular, as well. Orchids, carnations; and lilies are often sought out because of their durability.

I don:t know about Japan but do know some cultures do not use them. the French, for some odd reason do not use Wreaths or Bells- On Christmas Cards, as they consider these mournful symbols - two swinging bells at angle are , however used for New Year"s day- with the caption equivalent of ( Best wishes). There are some cultures which do not use flowers for funerary purposes.

It would be obscenely rude to not have a funeral for someone who has lived a good, productive life who was loved by many and is missed by all who knew that person. Funerals honor the life of the deceased, as the wake is just for that purpose, and for the grieving of the life lost. Funerals are reverent as everyone is supposed to wear their best clothes, or what they would wear for church, if not better. Cremations, though preferable to some, are comletely different than funerals, as cremations burn the body into ashes and have the ashes placed into an urn (vase) for safe keeping. Funerals preserve the body, though cremations are considerably cheaper (urns are cheaper than coffins). Funerals preserve the body because it is believed by many that that same body is to be resurrected when Christ comes back.
