Well, the first issue I can see is that you do not appear to know exactly what species of animal you are attempting to keep. Geckos are a huge family of lizards from a wide range of environments.

The most commonly kept species are leopard geckos and crested geckos, and their needs could not possibly be more different from each other.

I recommend you purchase a book on care for the species you have, and check your husbandry. Husbandry problems will be the number one cause of failure to thrive in captive reptiles.

Also, do not handle the animal until it's healthy and eating well, and if you believe it is sick, take it immediately to an experienced reptile veterinarian for a checkup and a fecal exam.

Well, they have a large selection really. If you're starting off with babies; small crickets, small (SMALL) chopped up veggies, (carrots best). That should be a baby geckos diet. The baby gecko might eat 3 times a day.

Now if you have a "teen" gecko 12-16 months old to adult, larger crickets, (no veggies) try to dust the crickets w/ calcium (put a couple in a bag and shake around) 5 in the winter, 7and up in the summer. Mealworms, earth worms, wax worms, and any other type of larvae.

Most of the Time stretchers do grow back, many people say if you go over 8mm you'll have them for life unless you have very expensive surgery, now back to the question, so if you are stretching your ear to 3,4mm it Is most defdently going to grow back, if your stretching to 5,6,7mm it's possible but don't get your hopes up, though if you grow it past 8mm or want to grow it past 8mm think of this; it's not just a normal piercing it's more like a tattoo your have it for life and it won't come back unless you have surgery!
