If you had ever noticed that German Shepherds vary in color and size from one to the other, and had gathered though research that these animals were bred with many types of shepherd dog, with a main cross being the wolf, you might agree that it stands to reason that if fact this dog may actually be a German Shepherd with a different heritage.

Great Dane here, if you plan to keep a dog just for guarding but not to attack kids the German Shepherd and Dobermann wouldn't be suitable for you.

Anyone who has the opportunity should undergo training. The more training that one has, the better their chances of obtaining a good job. The more one knows the better off they are.

To date, in Brittain they still refer to the German Shepherd as Alsatian in many cases.

There is some talk of another spin off breed being created called the American Alsatian, which is basically just a German Shepherd not of any particular type (Working or Show) bred in America.

For me I would pick a German Shepard because they are the second most dangerous dog in the world and I would like to have a guard dog.
