No, unless you are using extremely inexpensive tile. Self stick tile do best when an adhesive primer is applied to a clean, dry sub floor. After the install is complete, you need to use a 100 lb roller. The glue is not completely excreted from the tile until this is done.

There are many polystyrene glues made, especially for model making. I do like a product on sale in hobby stores called RX 7. Given the choice, I use MEK for my model making, but this is dangerous and not sold to the public.

Standard yellow wood glue (PVA glue) is the best TYPE of wood glue. Type 1 PVA - or waterproof PVA glue - should be used when any water exposure is possible, and on some woods is stronger than standard PVA wood glue. Most important is a tight fit and clamping. The brand of glue is not as important as the type.

Any wood glue is fine and will be stronger than the wood it's self when done correctly. Titebond is excellent, and is also available in a waterproof version (Titebond3), as well.

Keep everything clean, clamp the joint, firmly without crushing the material, and don't expect end grain, to glue up strong, no matter the species of wood. Research how to glue up wood if you don't know, it takes more than good glue to make a good joint, in wood.

PS wipe up your glue squeeze out, with a damp rag.

Warm water compresses for 15 minutes or more - do not force the eyelid open. The water, as krazy glue does with acrylic nails, will cause the disassociation of the glue from the eye and eyelid. See your doctor or at least call if there are vision problems.

I did this - lost all my eye lashes from the inside corner of my eye to middle - that was the worst part - them growing back out, especially when you sweat - nothing to catch that salty sweat and it burns the yes. But I have my vision and I'm grateful! Just keep using the warm compresses - the water will really make the glue slough off.

The Superglue, manufacturers. website recommends Acetone. This is the primary ingredient in nail polish remover. Works well with Q-tip. #Tip; make sure it says remover on the bottle.

This is a complex situation. If you are dealing with a water based bone-meal wood glue, like Elmers you use moisture and heat. Ex: A damp cloth and an iron, or steam for a kettle or teapot. But if you are dealing with an epoxy based wood glue you can not dissolve it. The joints of the wood stick and then they will explode, the wood cracks and breaks. Then you are out of luck. Hopefully for you, you were dealing with a water based glue.

Thinset mortar. There's a special one for porcelain tile; any thinset will work for regular ceramic tile.

It depends where the area that you are wanting to get at, is but a scraper is usually the most common way. A scraper is a piece of hardened steel, usually about half the size of a standard letter envelope and the edges have been filed in a way so that there is a bur on the edge that can be used to scrape off glue etc from timber. You will obviously scrape off layers of timber at the same time but if it's done properly you won't be able to tell (i.e. don't remove too much otherwise you'll leave a dent in the timber where you've worked). I don't know of any way to remove glue from wood grain without removing some of the timber itself (I'm a fine furniture maker). The scraper is held upright on the flat surface of wood and pulled towards you (you might need to look up pictures on the net). Scrapers can be bought at most woodworking/tool shops. All the best!
