where is the map sensor located on a 2005 gmc envoy

I am not showing a 2010 GMC Envoy...do you mean 2009

There is not a cable for the speedometer. The information is sent to the gauge cluster from the PCM. The PCM controls almost all aspects of the vehicle operation. All of the information on the gauge cluster comes from the PCM.

If I remember correctly you have to remove a little trap door. When under the car you will see two screws, loosen those (they are quarter turn screws) and move the door. You will see both the drain plug and the filter. The filter is up a little ways.

If your vehicle has the inline 4.2 ltr six cylinder ...... you don't have one. Spark is controled by the PCM and is distributed to the plugs via the coils attached to the top of each individual plug. This creates a highly efficient system that requires the plugs to be changed out at a 100,000 mile service interval.

I need to replace the smog pump on my 2004 gmc envoy with the inline six, what is the best procedure

1. Jack up the truck.

2. Disconnect both the air inlet and air outlet pipes from the secondary air injection (AIR) reaction pump.

3. Remove the electrical relay from the AIR pump bracket.

4. Disconnect the electrical connector from the AIR pump.

5. Remove the 3 bolts securing the AIR pump bracket to the vehicle frame.

6. Remove the AIR pump from the vehicle.

the fuse should be for all brake lights and tail lights if only one is out its a bulb

If it is a homelink system (factory) the proceedure is in the owners manual. You will need an operational opener for your garage.

To replace a broken radio antenna on a 2004 GMC Envoy you need to unscrew the old antenna. Next, place the new antenna in the hole and screw into place.

INSERT A SMALL TOOL INTO THE BEZEL ACCESS HOLE. 6 PUSH UPWARD ON THE TOOL WHILE ROTATING THE SUNSHADE PARALLELL TO THE WINDSHEILD. THE SUNSHADE PIVOT ARM BEZEL SHOULD APPEAR TO BE RECESSED INTO THE BEZEL. 7. APPLY OUTBOARD PRESSURE TO THE SUNSHADE WHILE THE SUNSHADE IS PARALLEL TO THE WINDSHEILD. 8. PULL THE SUNSHADE DOWNARD WHILE MAINTAINING OUTBOARD PRESSURE TO THE SUNSHADE. YOU WILL NOTICE A SEPARATION BETWEEN THE HEADLINER AND THE SUNSHADE BEZEL. 9. IN ORDER TO REMOVE THE SUNSHADE FROM THE HEADLINER, CAREFULLY GRAB THE HEADLINER AT THE WINDSHEILD PILLAR AREA AND APPLY DOWNARD PRESSURE WHILE GENTLY ROCKING THE SUNSHADE UP AND DOWN. 10. REMOVE THE INBOARD RETAINER SCREW. 11. REMOVE THE INBOARD RETAINER FROM THE HEADLINER. 12. IF THE VEHICLE IS EQUIPPED WITH LIGHTED SUNSHADES REMOVE THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS FROM THE HEADLINER.

Check tie rod ends, inner tie rod bushings, and balljoints. Also, SOMETIMES new rotors may need to be resurfaced. Usually replacing brake pads alone will not help.

Have you recently un hooked your battery if so your ecm module will reset to factory settings check your throttle body and clean .If your throttle body is dirty this will cause your problem .When the battery is unhooked the ecm will reset and if the the throttle body is dirty ,the heat or ac will shut engine off

You don't. I had this problem on my 2002 Envoy and there was no way to clear the blockage. I tried putting the nozzle in warm soapy water and shaking it to remove the blockage, but that didn't work. I tried soaking it in alcohol and shaking it to remove the bllockage, but that didn't work. Finally I took a paper clip and worked it around inside the nozzle. No luck. Everything I did made it worse. You have to replace the nozzle.

This one is pretty easy. Press the button in the envoy that you want to program as your garage door opener until it starts blinking rapidly then press you original garage door opener while you are still pressing the program button. Hold like this for a couple of seconds and the button in the envoy should be ready to go

The sender is in the fuel tank and requires you to drop the tank as that is the only way to get to the hose and wires.

Engine oil capacity is based on your engine size. The owner's manual for the vehicle will contain that infomation, but a store like Autozone will be able to give you the answer if you have lost the manual.

Depending on the rear axle ratio you will be able to pull 5000-6000 lbs. Refer to the owners manual

Check to make sure that the windows haven't popped off the track. This would cause the windows in your 2002 Envoy to become stuck and not go down. If you replaced the driver's side master power switch and the locks work but the windows just make a clicking sound, this could help.
