Last you need to disconnect the wires the supply power to the pump and fuel level. Lower the tank so you can pull the tank from under the truck. There is a lock ring that holed the pump to the tank , turn the ring until you can remove it. After you remove the ring the pump will pull out of the tank. The new pump will contain a new wiring harness that you will need to install. The directions to do this will be in the box with the new pump. All parts needed will come with the pump. Just put everything back in the reverse order you took it apart. This took me about 1 ½ hours to do from start to finish. Good Luck!
