Internet Explorer is from Windows and is installed on every new Windows PC, Google chrome is from Google and free to download online. Google Chrome has more features and is faster.

Recent Tabs contains only about 10 recent tabs if the tab closed doesn't appear then open a new tab and type in address bar chrome://history and hit enter, this shows the entire history of your browsing. Browsing History can also be accessed from shortcut command Ctrl + H or from Chrome Menu.
