What GPA do you need to get into William and Mary?
The average GPA of incoming freshman at William and Mary is a 4.0. While this may seem daunting for some, a powerful application that demonstrates your intellectual abilities and reveals the interesting and enhancing aspects of your character will make up for a less-then-perfect GPA. For those who think that a 4.0 means that they are set, that is NOT the case. W&M rejects thousands of 4.0 applications every year because of a bad SAT score, dull, unoriginal, and poorly written essays, and a lack of depth in extracurriculars (they want to see commitment, not a long list of resume-padding). W&M is very selective.

It depends on your intended program of study in the second masters. They will look at you as a whole and not just a part of you within the whole. Typically, they take everything into consideration. Still, if you did well in your masters, it will have a significant impact.

Average sat and GPA to get into uva?
There is NO average SAT or GPA score to get into UVA. I am a third-year student there and all I can say is to do your best and see how far it takes you. While there is no minimum that determines if you are 'in' or 'out', I will say the average high school GPA for an entering UVA student is over a 4.00 weighted high-school GPA. GOOD LUCK!!

Most likely, yes. It depends on the quality of applicants they get and what not, but the ACT is going to be given more preference than your GPA, and yours is higher than what they recommend. Also, if you took lots of APs, they will probably disregard your lower GPA, assuming you are on an unweighted system. Good luck!
What college can you get into with a 4.5 GPA?
with good test scores and extracurriculars, you can get into pretty much any college that you want.

A 2.5 GPA is not too good considering how competitive Bama is. But that could be overlooked considering how well you click in a house, recs for that house, people you know, etc. But people with 2.5 have been given bids plenty of times so you should probably concentrate on the areas that you can control at this point like Rush behavior and appearance, recs, going to teas. etc. More questions?

What is the average GPA for admitted students for Indiana State University?
I don't know the average GPA to get into Indiana University. But you definitely need to get decent grades. A good GPA and a decent SAT score are a must. After you accomplish this, start thinking about ways you can separate yourself from the competition. Extracurricular activates are very important. Lastly, make sure you want to go to Indiana University. I know a lot of students that thought they wanted to go to their dream school, but when they got in and went to that school, they were really disappointed. What is your GPA when you have all A's but 2 B's?
It depends. In order to calculate the GPA, you have to know how many credits the student attempted, and number of credits of each course, the grade of each course which indicates the number of quality points for each course. You total the number of quality points and divide that by the number of credits attempted. Thus, there is not way to tell based on the information you have provided. I can say this though, it will be a very good GPA!
Can you get into suny oneonta with a GPA of 2.7?
I currently am enrolled in a Michigan based college that supports transfers to most major private and public institutions (carry a 3.7) and briefly considered OSU when I first entered junior college (I am not any more, unless it's as a back up plan).
I did some reading up on them and their policy was anybody is "welcome" to apply, however transfer students with below a 3.0 SHOULD NOT apply to their school. I thin they said 3.5 is ideal and almost assures you of admission (depending on the level of classes you're taking that is).
Now, don't take this as law. Everywhere is different and I'm not a guru on it.
I know a pretty well know private school (NYU) looks at what you can do in relation to your field (like if you're in movies, they may not pay attention to your grades) and have a friend who was admitted to University of Michigan in the 1960's with a C average because he scored near perfect on multiple AP mathmatics exams.
USC? They have ONE math requirement, but after that? You're free to apply to their school and they take it on a case by case basis.
So, there are exceptions and you may want to contact OSU with your unique story.
But, for the most part, unless you want to go to OSU as an athlete or "exceptionally" gifted student or something (basically not JUST on grades), a general rule I've seen in a couple places is that most major state-based schools don't take students who have under a 3.0. HSGPA and even then...you're at the bottom of the admissions list.
Hope this helps. ; - )
What are the College options for students with low high school GPA?
The community college is a great place to start. It gives everyone an opportunity to further their education. I was told by a high school counselor that I was not college material. I became a director of admissions at a college and I am now a professor. I started at a community college as well as my family doctor. It's all a matter of attitude. If your heart is really into it, you will succeed. It's 10% aptitude, 90% attitude! Check with your home county community college. The community college has an open admissions policy. If you do well at the college, complete your associates degree, you can then transfer to a four year college or university to finish your bachelors degree if you so wish.

Is a 2.9 GPA ok for freshman year high school?
It is basically a C average (satisfactory). Just a tad over, however you can do better. Learn to use the academic learning center at the college or university you are attending.

i had a 152 LSAT score & a slightly lower GPA than yours. when i got my scores back i was totally depressed because i thought i'd done horribly (every commenter on the internet thought so) & i was convinced that no one would take me. i debated taking it again but in the end i decided that i'd rather apply to schools earlier & i sent out my *bad* scores and guess what, i was accepted to 3 great schools right away--including my number 1 choice which had an average 160 LSAT score for incoming 1L's.
i can't speak exactly to your situation but i can say that what helped me was having a strong application package overall. admissions officers aren't lying when they tell you that they look at everything & in my case my grades, activities, LOR's & personal statements really made a difference.
if i could give you (and anyone else reading this) advice it would be to not let people on the internet psyche you out. when i got my scores back i went all over the internet asking questions just like this one & all the answers did were make me feel worse about my situation and distract me from working on the other parts of my application and i think that helped me out with my *low* scores.
don't stress yourself out about it too much!
