i REMEMBER BACK N THE 1970'S THE COURTS HELD FOR THE FAMILY OF THE MAN WHO INVENTED THE WRATCHET THAT SEARS HAD TAKEN UNFAIR ADVANTAGE OF HIM BY PAYING HIM SOM REDICULOUSLY LOW SUM OF MONEY BACK IN THE 1920'S I THINK AND HE WAS PAID I REMEMBER SOMETHING LIKE 600 DOLLARS OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT BUT THE COURTS IN THE 1970'S HELD FOR 2-300 MILLION TO HIS HEIRS FOR THE SETTLEMENT OF THE FAMILY BROUGHT LAW SUIT. AS A TOOL IT REALLY IS REMARKABLE ISN'T IT AS FOR ITS REASON TO BE INVENTED i WOULD IMAGINE WOULD BE THE ABILITY TO TIGHEN OR LOOSEN A NUT AND /OR BOPLT FORM A TIGH CONFINEMENT AND BNY APPLY MAX TORQUE ON THE CENTER PIVOT..... You wrap it around an oil filter or something then hold the strap as you pull the lever back. If it doesn't seem to work at first, just flip it over and try the other way. It's a little tricky at first.

Yep, all you got to do is get some copper wire and a 9 volt battery, and wrap the wire repeatedly around the metal part of the screwdriver, and connect the wire one end to the positive terminal of the battery, the other to the negative end, then let it sit for an hour or two and the screwdriver will now be able to better grip screws and such.

Rather than using oil use a solution that drives out moisture and as you want it even drives out rust on tools. Such as WD-40.

A long screwdriver is handy when screws are deeply recessed or hard to access (such as in an engine bay reaching through the fan and under the starter motor where big human hands don't reach).

A long screwdriver can be easier to keep on the screw head. Picture a driver being held on a screw head in a wobbly hand where the driver stays on the head but the handle is rotating in an arc. Lets say the driver will slip out of the screw head if the hand wobbles more than 10 degrees off square to the screw head. For a long driver, this may need a wobble of 20mm, but the equivalent arc when using a stubby driver might result from only 5mm movement of the handle, needing a steadier hand.

If it's the "oil" drain plug, the size wrench is, better yet use a socket wrench=13mm.

That's a really amorphous question and I'm sure nobody has ever even thought about it seriously. In my case I would say 3/4 , but nobody really keeps count . We have many more important things in mind.
