Does a Yamaha htr 5830 have HD?
I'm not sure what you mean by "HD," but I've owned this receiver for almost two years and here's what it does have
- two Optical and one coax digital audio inputs
- two component video inputs and one component video output
these two features can be classified as HD as component video is rated just about the same as HDMI. The three digital audio inputs can be classifed as HD as well. Just remember that if you want HD quality from either a Set Top Box or a DVD player, you will need one cable for each of the video and audio. There are no HDMI inputs for this receiver. The nice thing about HDMI is that you can get both HD quality audio and video from one cable.
I hope this helps
Can an employer reveal my wages to another company if I have not given permission?
If you filled out an application for a job, you signed a paper giving them permission to inquire about you. No other permission is needed.
Most large displays have HDMI inputs these days. The interface is primarily designed for HD sources such as DVD players but the signal format happens to be the same as a DVI output of a computer. Use a DVI to HDMI cable and select the resolution of the output to match the native resolution of the monitor. If the computer doesn't have a DVI output, they can be purchased as a separate card and installed in the computer in a few minutes. Warning: Plasma screens suffer from image burn. This happens when a static image is displayed on the screen for long periods of time. The image will appear as a shadow on any other image displayed on the screen. Once it is there, it is very difficult to remove it and often impossible to make it disappear completely. If you are using a plasma, take care not to leave the computer image on it for long periods of time. The problem is limited to plasma screens and does not affect LCD displays the same way.

Ask a store that sells computers (e.g. Staples, Office Depot, Fry's Electronics) if they will take it for recycling. Many such stores do.

COAX CABLE. It might be made of copper or a mix of other metals.
tip: If you want to revise the question or comment on an answer, don't erase the answer and post the clarification in the answer section. You look like you're talking to yourself.
You can use a coaxial cable to run both a video and audio signal together. You will need a RF modulator to create the signal from the video and audio feeds, and then you can run a single RG6 cable to the TV.

Native HD can mean two different things.
First, it may refer to the resolution. Native HD resolution is either 1080 line or 720 line, depending on the format chosen for the production. Many televisions have a different line count in their displays so the image needs to be re-sized to fit the resolution of the screen. The image is no longer in its native resolution.
Second, it might refer to the signal bandwidth. Production HD uses an uncompressed signal with a data rate of 1.483 Gb/s (that's 1,483,000,000 bits every second). That is the native data rate. By the time the signal is delivered to homes, it has been compressed to as little and 5Mb per second (5,000,000 bits per second).
The data rates refer to 720p and 1080i signals. 1080p signals have a native data rate of 2.966Gb/s
