Chantix has a 24 hour 1/2 life. This means that say you take a pill Sat. a.m., on Sun a.m. only 1/2 is still in your system;
on Mon. a.m. only 1/4 (1/2 of what was left on Sun. a.m.) is left;
on Tue. 1/8

Am 5 months with severe headaches past few days and now no fetal heartbeat what has happened?
Hard to tell since there are many reasons a baby can die in the womb but if you know about the heartbeat you must've been to a ultrasound. They should be able to tell you what has happened or they can after the autopsy.
Short answer is yes. Usually, if this occurs, it will be when you first start taking the drug or when you increase the dosage. Of course follow your doctors advice but what seems to work for me is back off for a week then start up again. I have been taking Asacol for some fifteen years now with minimum side affects but if I increase the dosage to much at once I do get headaches. It can also be effected by other drugs you may take. Asacol has been a lifesaver for me compared to where I was without it.

Head and neck pain from vomiting?
I have the same problem. Three days ago I vomited while standing up and got the most intense pain in the back of my head on the left side. It lasted about 30 minutes. Then this morning while getting my children on the school bus and talking to the bus driver it started up again. I think it's probably strain from the act of vomiting but Im worried that it keeps happening.

Are otosclerosis headaches linked no tinitus involved?
Otosclerosis primarily affects the bones of the middle ear and can lead to hearing loss, but it is not typically associated with headaches. While some individuals may experience discomfort or pressure that could lead to headaches, this is not a common symptom of otosclerosis itself and may be related to other factors. Tinnitus, or ringing in the ears, can accompany otosclerosis, but the absence of tinnitus does not inherently mean that headaches are linked to the condition. If headaches persist, it is advisable to consult a healthcare professional for further evaluation.
yes it definitely can according to all the doctors that have answered this type of question just remember never have sex when you have a UTI.

What does it mean when a 5 year old wakes up with a headache and when he is given Maxalt he vomited?
Your child is sick. Take it to a doctor.
Go to a doctor RIGHT NOW if you experience that. NOW. I mean honestly NOW. Speed will cause you to gain all energy then faint and possibly death if you dont get to a hospital RIGHT AWAY. So go to the doctor RIGHT NOW. HONESTLY u mite die. rite now go! [kromiae says] : Go to the hospital right now. Seriously you might diee
subconciously your could be over stressed. I had a headache for months that I thought was abnormal, the doctor told me it might be cause by stress. He told me to try doing stress relief activities like sports. weeks later, the headaches went away. Also, sleeping well for longer than 8 hours helps a ton. Have you been eating well? the brain is the only organ in the human body that needs mostly sugars for it's energy source. If you notice when you're thinking hard or studying, you dont find yourself breathing harder like you do when you exercise. this is because the food you brain is using comes from the sugars in your blood. If you're not eating well, this can affect your brain's health big time.
I hope its nothing serious, but Im assuming it's just something that will go away soon.
You need to see a doctor to make sure it is nothing serious. If it is not serious it may be that you are hunching over a desk and/or computer and your muscles are getting really tight which can tighten up the back of your neck and give you headaches as well. Sit up straight from time to time and stretch your shoulders back, relax and get someone to massage you.
Brown blood just means old blood. It is quite common and normal. It sounds like you have pms and your period:)
It is impossible to say with certainty what it is, but with those symptoms you need to have it evaluated by a physician. Headaches and arm pain may or may not be related, could have another problem and sypmtoms are just coincidental, but still needs evaluation.
anyone know what this could be? sounds like the same symptoms my 6 yr old boy has....please help with info.thanks
For how long does excedrin relief pain from your body?
Excedrin (as well as Excedrin Migraine which contains the same ingredients), contains Acetaminophen (Tylenol), Aspirin, and Caffeine.
Acetaminophen works to relieve pain and has a half-life of 2-4 hours. So, anywhere from 4-8 hours the acetaminophen will be completely gone from your body.
Aspirin works by blocking pain signals before they get to the brain, also by reducing inflammation (where much of migraine pain is an inflammatory response - this is especially important). Its half-life (for the normal dosage of Excedrin) would be about 3.1-3.2 hours. So, at about 6 hours all aspirin would be gone from your body.
Caffeine works both by increasing the rate of absorption of the medication and by working as a vasocontrictor on blood vessels that are dilated due to inflammation. Taking two Excedrin is about the same as drinking a cup of coffee. The half-life of caffeine is about 5 hours.
The directions for Excedrin say to take 2 tablets every 6 hours. This is both because they don't want you overdosing on the medication and because at about 6 hours the pain relieving effects will be wearing off from all three components.
If you are taking over-the-counter medications for your headaches and are finding they are doing little to nothing for your pain, see your doctor. And please read the labels of any other medications your are taking to make sure they do not contain an NSAID (like ibuprofen - which is Motrin, Advil) or Acetaminophen (which is in every form of Tylenol and in some cold medications as well).
