What is an online job assessment?

Businesses have three opportunities to impact the performance of their people. The first is during the selection process, if non performers can be screened out, the savings are dramatic in comparison to the minimal cost involved.

Unfortunately if the wrong person is hired, the next opportunity to effect performance cost considerably more because it's after the individual is inside the company. Managers and supervisors must spend valuable time providing extra training to marginal employees, instead of investing their time in top performers, who generate most of the company's profits. Often outside consultant are retained, in hopes that the situation can be improved. Too many times, these efforts prove unsatisfactory and only end up consuming yet, more time and money.

Occasionally, elaborate incentive plans or bonuses are established, aimed at motivating employees. Typically, these efforts are much more successful increasing the performance of top people, rather than stimulating marginal employees. If these internal solutions fail to generate the desired results, the business is left with the last alternative and indeed the most costly- that of exiting the employee from the business or department. Now, all of that time, energy, and money invested in that individual leaves with them and the process to replace them must start over.

W. Edward Deming said, "if a person is not performing as expected, it is probably because they are miscast for the job". Deming's statement focuses the spotlight squarely on the selection process as being the most critical opportunity to take charge of the companies performance.

Did you ever have an employee who, knowing the importance of Customer Service, repeatedly frustrated customers? That's Job Fit. Did you ever have a sales person who worked hard and never sold very much? That's Job Fit. Did you ever worked beside someone who wasn't interested in being there? That's Job Fit.

The challenge to businesses is that Job Fit can only be determined through the use of Assessment instruments and, until recently, the majority of those available were woefully inadequate. The information provided, while interesting, often tended to be generalized and lacked qualified, objective, and accurate data for serious decision making.

Recently assessments have been developed and designed specifically for business, meeting all legal requirements and guidelines. In fact, consistent use of a good assessment program can assist in documenting objective and non discriminatory hiring practices. A good tool should be multicultural and validated for today's diverse workforce. Additionally, strong assessments are validated to be effective with English as a second language, and should be available in numerous dialects.

A good system allows companies to benchmark positions and to develop patterns defining the core competencies necessary for selecting top performers. A good Job Assessment should measure: Expected learning success, reasoning and problem solving potential. endurance and capacity for a fast pace, taking charge of people and situations, people-oriented, manageability, following policies, work within the rules, positive attitude, making decisions, cooperative and agreeable, team person, self-reliant, self-directed, persuasive, organized, creative thinking, and much more. From Profiling Assessments to Customer Service and Sales Assessments, a good employee assessment system can be easily incorporated into your current operations.

How to make money online from home for free?

You can simply make money by blogging. I've been doing it for years. Of course I had a coach to show me the basics but it's sooo simple. It doesn't matter how old you are and you really don't need to know how to do anything except pay attention. Here's the basics of how it works

1. Make A Blog - You make a blog about something people want to read about it could be anything. People on the internet are interested in so many things that you could literally have a blog about dogs or dog training that dog training blog could have thousands of readers.

Some people make their own blogs and some people pay to get get blogs. You can use wordpress or blogger to make a blog. Make sure you have at least 15 blog posts before you go out and try to make money because you want to have a good amount of content... But don't write all your posts in one day, spread them out and keep a pattern going. I write mine at least every two days. Google loves a blog that keeps fresh information coming. Also, whatever you blog is about make sure you mention that word (key word) in your blog.

tip. Writing a blog about things that you are passionate about will keep fresh content easily coming.

Guide Line:

  • 300 words at least
  • Use your "key word" at least once every hundred times and in your title
  • Add pictures relevant to your topic

2. Monetize - After you've made a blog, you then need to get something to make money on your blog because you can have 1,000 readers a day but you need a way to make money with those readers. So you'll go find a product that is related to your blog. So if your blog is about dog training you'll then sign up to a place like clickbank. That site allows you to promote information products and earn a commision in the process and it's completely free to join. However, on many websites, such as Answers.com, and Wikipedia, affiliate links are not permitted.

Once you sign up you'll go to the market place and put in your keyword "dog training" and multiple products will come up that are relevant to your topic. Click promote, to promote that promote that product and every time that product sells you'll get a commission... over and over and over...

The number 1 way to make money with your visitors is to combine what you've learned off of the internet and make money with it by writing a quick e-book. It's easy and fun to do this. This way you could then sell it for any amount of money you want to (be reasonable).

3. Traffic - Truth be told, without traffic (visitors) you will never be successful. Your goal is to try to rank high with the search engines. Too much information to list here so I'll try to be as efficient as possible.

Comment Kahuna -

This site will allow you to make comments on different blogs around the internet quick and easy. Just make sure when you leave a comment it's not a copy and past, make a genuine comment that adds value to that person's page that you're on. Never spam by just leaving the same comments over and over or by leaving unrelated comments. Leaving comment on the internet means that you'll be leaving a trail of your blog url all over the internet. When Google see's this they will boost your website rankings because they are seeing links that are directing back to your website aka backlinks.

As you leave more and more (no-spam) backlinks, Google will continue to reward you by moving you up the search engines (yahoo, bing, google etc). You want to do absolutely anything it takes to stay actively talking about your dog training blog. Make flyers, make comments, go to yahoo and wiki.answers, post your blog on facebook, reddit, stumbleUpon, digg etc.

As you are doing this you will be interacting and making money at the same time. Remember to have fun and don't check your email too often, remember to stay focused. 10 minutes of meditation before you start will be a good thing to do to keep the stability of your mind at a good rate.

How do you become a mystery or secret shopper?

Do you love to shop? If so, you may be tempted by unsolicited emails or newspaper ads that claim you can earn a living as a secret or mystery shopper by dining at elegant restaurants, shopping at pricey stores, or checking into luxurious hotels. But, according to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), the nation's consumer protection agency, marketers who promise lucrative jobs as mystery shoppers often do not deliver bona fide opportunities. Some retailers hire marketing research companies to evaluate the quality of service in their stores; these companies use mystery shoppers to get the information anonymously. They assign a mystery shopper to make a particular purchase in a store or restaurant, for example, and then report on the experience. Typically, the shopper is reimbursed, and can keep the product or service. Many professionals in the field consider mystery shopping a part-time activity, at best. And, they add, opportunities generally are posted online by marketing research or merchandising companies. Nevertheless, fraudulent mystery shopping promoters are using newspaper ads and emails to create the impression that they're a gateway to lucrative mystery shopper jobs with reputable companies. These solicitations usually promote a website where consumers can "register" to become mystery shoppers - after they pay a fee for information about a certification program, a directory of mystery shopping companies, or a guarantee of a mystery shopping job. The truth is that it is unnecessary to pay money to anyone to get into the mystery shopper business. The shopping certification offered in advertising or unsolicited email is almost always worthless. A list of companies that hire mystery shoppers is available for free; and legitimate mystery shopper jobs are on the Internet for free. Consumers who try to get a refund from promoters of mystery shopping jobs usually are out of luck. Either the business doesn't return the phone calls, or if it does, it's to try another pitch. Becoming a legitimate mystery shopper for a legitimate company doesn't cost anything. Here's how to do it: * Search the Internet for mystery shopping companies that are accepting applications. Legitimate companies don't charge an application fee. Many accept applications online. * Do some homework about mystery shopping. Check libraries or bookstores for tips on how to find companies hiring mystery shoppers, as well as how to do the job effectively. * Visit the Mystery Shopping Providers Association (MSPA) website at www.mysteryshop.org for information on how to register to be a mystery shopper with a MSPA-member company, a database of available jobs, and additional information on the industry in general. In the meantime, the FTC says consumers should be skeptical of mystery shopping promoters who: * Advertise for mystery shoppers in a newspaper's 'help wanted' section or by email. While it may appear as if these companies are hiring mystery shoppers, it's much more likely that they're pitching unnecessary - and possibly bogus - mystery shopping "services." * Sell "certification." Companies that use mystery shoppers generally do not require certification. * Guarantee a job as a mystery shopper. * Charge a fee for access to mystery shopping opportunities. * Sell directories of companies that provide mystery shoppers. If you think you have encountered a mystery shopping scam, file a complaint with your local consumer protection agency, the Better Business Bureau, your State Attorney General, or the FTC (ftc.gov). The FTC works for the consumer to prevent fraudulent, deceptive, and unfair business practices in the marketplace and to provide information to help consumers spot, stop, and avoid them. To file a complaint or to get free information on consumer issues, visit ftc.gov or call toll-free, 1-877-FTC-HELP (1-877-382-4357); TTY: 1-866-653-4261. The FTC enters consumer complaints into the Consumer Sentinel Network, a secure online database and investigative tool used by hundreds of civil and criminal law enforcement agencies in the U.S. and abroad. Source: Federal Trade Commission A Cautionary Word to the Wise The Internet hosts many "get rich quick" schemes and offers, be "Net Savvy"! Be wary of mystery shopping company directories and certification programs being hawked on the internet! Save yourself needless costs and grief. No legitimate company conducting mystery shopping charges any fees to apply for assignments. A simple search on the internet will produce a host of legitimate companies. Go on their site to determine if they have assignments in your immediate area before taking the time and effort to submit an application. Good Luck! Why is correct data entry important?

The speed of production today makes the accessibility of precise, comprehensive information an absolute essential. Whether your corporation is multi-national or just starting off, the more you know about markets, customers, or clients; the better you can track results, measure efficiency, and analyze data; and the faster you have vital information, the better your results will be. This holds good for corporations, physicians, attorneys, automobile manufacturers, hospitals, marketing companies, and just about any other business you can imagine that needs information fast. Businesses are always looking for the information that will help them run day-to-day operations or to plan for the development of future growth. Customer satisfaction surveys are a constant of modern life as are comment cards, coupon mailers, and contests. Some companies can be virtually overwhelmed by the amount of data entry required just to keep things moving. This can be especially true of medical facilities, insurance groups, collection agencies, and marketing companies.

What are the best Internet businesses?

If you ask people will either say sell through Ebay or become an affiliate marketer. Either one can be a good choice if you're looking for income stream working from the comfort of your own home.

Ebay is straightforward enough. You sell through auction stuff you don't want but is still in good shape to people who may want what you have.

How do you start your own ski apparel business?

Firstly create a business plan. You cannot hope to even get started without one.

Decide (as your question does not indicate is) if its a retail business or a manufacture business. They are completely different and will need to be approached a diffiernt ways in full.

Assuming its for an outlet:

Plan to seek out an area for the outlet - if its a shop/store envirnment your loking to start

Using the plan identify competition in the area - if your doing this from a outlet rather than on line then this is critical as thre may be business a plenty in your target area making it really difficult to even get on the first rung of the ladder.

Identify you target customer base. How will they get to you, how will you get to them. Are you in a"good footfall area".

How will you fund the initial first months of creating the business as well as the openeing. Most people forget to plan in finacial coverage for the purchase of premises, licences, untilities. EPOS (tills) stands, for the outlet, fittings and fixtures plus legal fees such as insurances for the premisies, stock and fittings, and in addition such things as company facias with business names on etc and then of course how will you advertise this venture. (this goes back to the basics of whose going to be my custoemer)

You will need to seek out reliable suppliers for a vast range of areas across the the sports areas you wish to cover. then idenfiy the key suppliers, negociate the purchases and set upi credit limits for your ordering.

Staffing will need to be considered. no one can run a business like this and be there every open hours and still survive.

these are just a few of the basic considerations
