"Choke" refers to the amount that the barrel is constricted at the muzzle (located at the end of the shotgun barrel). If you are reasonably proficient, maybe 50 yards. The bullet is deadly for 200 yards or more but not very accurate.

Benjaman make a rifle that fires at 1200fps but that just speed. If you want power the The Dragon Slayer 50, made by ShinSung is a 50cal PCP air rifle. At 500fps. this will bring down a boar or deer. 50cal, that's real power. So if you want power over speed look at PCP air rifles not spring rifles.

Acually their are even more powerful ones than that, if the question was about small bore, forgetting the .50 and .45 cal Asian rifles there is a GAMO hunter that has a killer power 1650 feet per second! and it comes in .177 and .22 cal hope that helps.

No airgun actually achieves that kind of velocity, but it is very popular trend in modern marketing, especially with Gamo. The most powerful smallbore (.25 and lower) airgun is made by Air Force Airguns and is called Air Force Condor. Many springers are capable of achieving similar velocity with lighter pellets, but that is mostly due to dieseling of oil in the chamber. It later stops as most of that oil burns out.

Greetings! The value of any fire arm can vary significantly based on several factors. First and most important is the condition. A Stevens C S R in excelent condition can be worth up to $450.00. As a rule- it is never a good idea to shoot a slug through a "choked" barrell. You may get lucky but as the result will almost certainly be injury or death, it should not be done. Slug barrells are available for just about any modern shotgun.

Choking a slug round serves NO purpose. Chokes are designed to tighten a shot pattern and increase the distance a shotgun is accurate and effective.

Yep its possible, but can be very rude.They are living also and its not right to destroy them. They might be to fast any way. Also they can attack so it would kinda not be a good idea.
