It sounds as if you aren't part of the same school she goes too or you could still see her at the dance or even meet her there. You have to ask yourself first why her parents don't want her to even be with you and you know it isn't just the dance they don't want you to take her too. They don't want you dating their daughter! You don't have much say in the matter. If your girlfriend didn't want to go with another guy then she doesn't have too. She can either stay home or go alone. The guy her parents are letting her go with is probably the son of a friend of theres because that's what parents can do in this case. It's obvious her parents and you don't get along. I know going alone to a school dance isn't all that cool, but many girls just go with a girlfriend and think nothing of it. It would be best if you posted again and gave a little more insight into the problem you are having with your girlfriend's parents and why. You have to have the exact firmware file. Like if you have an ipod touch 1g with 2.2.1 firmware you have to have the file made for a 1g itouch that has 2.2.1 firmware
