iPod Touch

Same thing happened to me. Only, I have an iPod Touch. It came with the new software, version 5.0.1. Most of Cydia's repositories can not control iOS 5, so they instead crash your iPod Touch, iPhone or iPad. As a result, all the apps except for Newstand will disappear. SBSettings will not function completely, and iFile and Cydia will be gone. So how do you fix it?

Simple. If you have SBSettings installed, this will be an easy process. Go to it and press the POWER button. The new menu will pop up. Press the REBOOT button. This will force your iPod to restart all it's functions and operate under the jailbreak.

After the reboot, you should now have all your apps back! (apps you had before downloading the software) Apps in folders will also be taken out, but nothing you can't fix.

If you don't have SBSettings, press and hold the POWER button on your iPod Touch until a Switch comes in saying to Power Off. Slide it and your iPod will shut off. Then, press and hold the Power button again and it will REBOOT. This will work like the other way, too, only difference is the other way is faster.

It depends on the size of the document. If each document is a gigabyte, then your iPod Touch can hold between seven and eight gigabytes. You must also take in the factor of the space the document viewing app will take up on your iPod Touch, too.

Sorry, you can't. But if you have 2 apple devices then you can swap the bakeries. I'm not sure how, but you can google it. :)

To sync your iPod with your iTunes, to load music, or even videos and games to your iPod product, you need to use the USB adapter which you get inside the box. You put the dock side of the adapter into your iPod, and the USB 2.0 side of the adapter into your PC/Mac, then iTunes should manually load unless you chose it not to. It will then automatically start syncing it.

It's recommended that you do not manually sync your iPod without using iTunes by using My Computer and locating the iPods disk drive.

u just type in the password when it asks u 2 when ur getting into ur ipod and u don't put the password on again.

It was a software update, and you can't just simply delete software. The software is what is running the iPod Touch, so you can't just delete the software. What you can do is just download the earlier version from iTunes and reinstall that version.

Download FreeCorder (Google it, it's from Applian Technologies) and install. Use FreeCorder to record high quality "videos" (songs with shabby lyric graphics added to make it a video) and transfer the music to iTunes. Then sync your device and choose songs.

Yes well if you look up social networking there is just some texting apps and you will be able to find one but it might be a 17+ app

You do not need an iTunes account to use the iTunes software with an iPod. You can use the iTunes software to manage your music on your computer or imported from your CDs or purchased from one of the many download sites. You only need to set up an iTunes account if you wish to purchase items from the iTunes store.

If you are using a Wi-fi connection check your connection, router, and your computer settings. Check your firewalls sometimes firewalls may block certain communications.

If someone is foolish enough to lend you their Apple ID then you can borrow it. It is free to set up an Apple ID so there is no value in borrowing one.

You should be able to connect your ipod-touch to your PC computer, you will want to have itunes downloaded on your computer though. You may have itunes all ready in that case when you plug your ipod-touch it will open automatically if not you can download itunes here: http:/www.apple.com/itunes/download
NOTE: it is set up to download the mac version at the bottom there should be a button saying get itunes for windows click that and it will be set up for windows.


otherwise i think you can just use your ipod as a drive and drag and drop music files into it and it should work, but you need itunes to activate your ipod at first.

In some cases, you might need to export contacts and then drag the edported file or files to the iPod Contacts folder. See the documentation for you email or contacts application.

There are two ways one of the ways you go to app store click or search any app you want to download then it'll ask you use an existing apple id or create a new one click creat a new one and set it up you do need a credit card

You can get it for free by going to settings click iCloud at the bottom it'll say get a free apple id tap that and fill out a form then done you have an apple id

around 200-300 dollars

you can connect from your ipod in a wifi hotspot but you cant turn it into a hotspot because the ipod is not a router
