Well first, did it turn into a white screen? If so hold the power button and home button ( circle part) together for 5-10 seconds or more and viola, your screen is fixed this has happened to me before i took it to an apple specialist and they told me this :)

In your iTunes program, go to "file" in the top left corner. Once you are there, you can click either "add folder to library" or "add file to library". When you've found the song(s) you want to put into iTunes, click the button that will say either "add folder to library" or "add file to library" and it will convert the limewire file to a format that iTunes will understand. Then, you can put the file onto your iPod as you normally would. For more info, I would suggest typing in your question on youtube for a perhaps clearer explanation.

It all depends on the browser that you're using. For example, Internet Explorer usually will ask you if you want to open or save the file in question. If you click save, it should bring up a box asking you to pick a location to save the file. In Mozilla Firefox, the download usually defaults to the desktop, unless you predefine in your browser settings where you want any downloaded files to be saved.

There are two ways to do this!

First, you can set the iPod back to factory settings, thus erasing all synced content and ressetting any changes you have made to the iPod itself. Hook up the little bugger and open iTunes if it doesn't do so automatically, then from the lefthand menue click on the tab that has the name of your iPod such as 'iPod Nano or Ryan's iPod or HOTMAKEOUTIPOD'; whatever it's name happens to be. This will open up the ipod menue and you should see a wee button that says 'Restore' on it. By clicking and confirming this, the iPod's drive is wiped of personal data and it goes back to the way it was when it was first pulled out of the box!

or, you can manually erase all the songs by going to the music tab under the name of your iPod in the iTunes menue, selecting the first song, then pressing SHIFT once you've reached the bottom. That will select all the songs in your library and then by left clicking and selecting delete, backspacing, returning, etc depending on whether you have a Mac or PC, all the songs will be removed from the library and, upon resycing, on the iPod, too.

These instructions work for all iPods, by the way. (: I hope all goes well in your quest to swipe those songs!
