A Muslim is anyone who believes in and follows Islam. Islam is a religion, and is not restricted to one region or race. This means that there are Muslims living all around the world, in every single country. Muslims can be of any race, color, nationality, language, etc.

Everyone sharing the faith officially as a deputed missionary comes from some certain culture. In that culture they learned and practiced their faith. When they bring the Faith to someone in a different culture that have to know what is really Faith and what is just a cultural setting of that Faith, a non-essential or something that is just one of many ways of expressing or living that Faith. For example, sometimes you see the Pope in a foreign country and he's being entertained by a tribal dance. That is their expression of the Catholic Faith. St Augustine, as usual, says it best : In essentials, unity; in non-essentials, liberty; in all things, charity.

The Arab Empire was a Muslim Empire and the first Muslim Empire. It aided in the dissemination of Islam and its establishment as a religion with dogmas and power structures.

The Muslims have no problem with the Americans. The Muslims don't hate or dislike the Americans. Both are living peacefully in America and in many other countries. Some of the Muslims may disapprove of the policies of the US Government it has adopted in many Muslim countries. In fact, no nation has any right to impose its policies on other nations. US being a super power should have tried to bring peace and hormony in the world. In stead, it is bombing the civilian population in Afghanistan, and some other Muslim countries. The US must know that hatred breeds hatred.

In short, the Muslims have no problems with the Americans, they may have problem with the policies of US government.

shiites belive in the prophet (pbuhahf) and in his family....whereas sunnis deny the family of Muhammed(pbuhahf) and they wanted to kill Imam Ali (as) because the prophet told everyone that he is the next caliph after he dies...but since the sunnies (abu bakr, uthman and umar) denied it and gave everyone money to follow abu bakr as the next caliph ...but he is only the prophets friend nothing more...whereas Ali (as) is the prophets cousin and son-in-law and th prophet stated that Ali is his bother and he is the next caliph. since abu bakr gave everone money ....only some people took it and belived in him while the rest stayed with Ali (AS) and his family .....so the followers/supporters of ALI are the shiites and the money-hungry followers of abu bakr are the sunnis......thanks for reading! :)

i am a shiite Muslim but if i had any doubt in my religion and know its wrong (not that it is) i would switch to the right one but surely (no doubt) its the right one

The most important day in Islam is the 9th of Zill-Hajja (the 12th month of Hijra Calendar) which is also known as the day of Arfa. On that day the most important pillar of Islam is performed. Anyhow, the day of Jumma in each week, the 27th of Ramazan, and the Eid-ul-Fitr and Eid-ul-Azha are also very important Days. There is no importance of prayer. The whole idea of Buddhism is to accept things as they are, to remove desire. Doesn't seem a little immature that people go around getting upset about all these little things. I mean, babies cry when they spill milk. Buddhists act if they can change something, if they can't they accept it, but they don't cry over it. Why get upset about all these different things if it doesn't help the situation and only makes you sad?

The Muslims are permitted to eat food coed by a Christian or a Jew.
