It is located to the passenger side of the rear speaker deck. You must 1st remove the rear lower seat, (there are 4 release levers under the front of the back seat). Then you must remove the back section of the back seat by pulling the release straps that you will see after you get off the lower seat. BECAREFUL of the wiring going to the heated seats and other wires running in the area. You will see 3 hand screwsat the top that holds on the cover over the speakers and entire rear deck. Remove these. Now the hard part, You must becareful of the airbags in the side sections. Some try to access the speaker without taking these off. You can lift the deck cover up carefully and see the little speaker all the way to the right(passenger)side. IF YOUR NOT COMFORTABLE WORKING AROUND OR WITH AIRBAGS YOU SHOULD TAKE IT TO A QUALIFIED TECH TO DO THIS.

You've got the same fingers the mechanic has don't you!? First unclip the two metal brackets holding the rubber boot that covers the back of the headlamp fixture and remove it.

Locate the bulb you wish to change and turn to release it.

Change the bulb and reassemble.

In the current model (power on but without engine running) hit the button on the end of the indicator stalk a few times . It will run through trip computer etc......and eventually you'll see an oil can and a reading.

The 1997 Jaguar XJR battery is located in the trunk. Once you open the trunk there are two carpeted panels that you pull out, one on the left side over the spare tire and another smaller one that covers the compartment for the battery and any other parts/tools you want to keep in this area. The battery is large and by putting it here, it makes it easier to install aftermarket car audio equipment amplifiers in the trunk which than can power the 9 speaker sound system in the car since the factory amps don't last long and will start to sound like static when they begin to fail. If you need to replace the battery for this fine vehicle, this is where you will find the battery. Don't fuel up with the engine running. The car is set up to test the intergrity of the fuel sytem for vapor leaks. The main time it will run is at idle. If it is running and you have the gas cap off, the light will come on.

5w-30 is recommended but you can use 0w-30 as well. You can also use synthetic oil if you wish but it is not needed.

There are two. One is located on the drivers side of the coolant pipe in front of the engine on top. The other is at the end of that pipe, closer to the engine, and to the right. Both are bolted inline with the pipe. Usually only one is bad but it isn't a bad idea to replace both at the same time.

Remember to carefully refill your coolant. This takes a long time because of the intercoolers. be patient and make sure it is topped off. Use the orange antifreeze as directed. GM Dexcool is fine.
