Jaguar are made in the United Kingdom and are very fast.
Inside the trunk under a cover to the right of the spare tire.
The XJR model has two fuel pumps due to it having a supercharger. The XJ8 model has only one. They are both tank mounted.
A couple of options exist, first, there is a key hole, although it doesn't look like a typical automotive keyhole, it is round, similar to the door keyhole and is located near the license plate. Secondly, check to see if the circuit breaker has tripped, or the fuse has blown. This seems as the most likely culprit since both device fail to open your trunk.
it should be 7.9 qts i just finished changing mine tonight
Remove rear seats and try to enter
hihihi , the guy above never drive a real jag, you can not remove a rear seats oh no sorry u can , but u will see tank .

Boost it. Safe and easy way is through something like the cigarette lighter port (they actually make jumper cables with cigarette lighter plugs on both ends for this purpose), but to do it quickly, you can jump it from the high-current post on the back of the alternator. Attach the positive cable there, and negative to a good ground on the engine or chassis. If you don't feel comfortable identifying your alternator's high current cable, consult a qualified mechanic. I'm a locksmith, and I've had to find inventive ways into cars where the battery is dead, the battery is in the trunk, and the keys won't open the trunk. Happens more often than what you might think, especially on European cars. This is my preferred method.
This is a very bad sign. If the supercharger has no oil it is very possible that you have a leak from the nose piece and because of the leak your bearings are running dry.
You need to get this fixed right away for if you do damage to the core it will end up costing you several hundred dollars more.
The best thing for you to do is to contact rebuilders of these products.
I'm not sure about all of the relays, but that is where the cigarette fuse is, if your cell charger won't work it is probably the fuse located in the trunk.
On the 2001 XJ8 it is in the right side of the trunk under the false trunk floor. I suspect that the 2002 model is the same.
There IS a keyhole, It is located in the model name plate (XJ6, XJ Sport, XJ Executive, XJ12, etc) it is small and round and uses the ignition key.
It is located to the passenger side of the rear speaker deck. You must 1st remove the rear lower seat, (there are 4 release levers under the front of the back seat). Then you must remove the back section of the back seat by pulling the release straps that you will see after you get off the lower seat. BECAREFUL of the wiring going to the heated seats and other wires running in the area. You will see 3 hand screwsat the top that holds on the cover over the speakers and entire rear deck. Remove these. Now the hard part, You must becareful of the airbags in the side sections. Some try to access the speaker without taking these off. You can lift the deck cover up carefully and see the little speaker all the way to the right(passenger)side. IF YOUR NOT COMFORTABLE WORKING AROUND OR WITH AIRBAGS YOU SHOULD TAKE IT TO A QUALIFIED TECH TO DO THIS.
