Possibly The SE coils and Rubicon Coils are the same length but the Rubi coils have a stiffer spring rate and you could gain 0 to 2 inches of lift if your springs are sagging

Jeep does not use inertia/reset/kill switches.

Push the buttons. There is an electromagnet in the axle that pulls a gear that lock the side gears together.

after electrcally disconnecting the switch there should be a small button on the bottom of the switch body that will release the switch shaft. then just pull it out and do the inverse to put the new one in.

you must remove the transmission, two bolts hold the slave on the front of the trans, and be sure to disconnect the hydrolic line ( no easy task)

The line is removed by pushing out the little pin near the end of the slave using a punch(hard part described above) once the pin is removed the line will slide off the slave.

**watch for an oring it will fall out and you will lose it .. DONT u need it. the install is the reverse acccpt your need to bleed the slave the same way you do brakes.

This is not correct. You do not have to remove the tranny on 94 and 95 models. You only have to remove the brace from engine to transmission. Then after that, everything else is the same.

I will say that it is not stellar no matter what. If MPG is a primary concern, Jeeps may not be for you.

The 2004 Rubicon rear differential uses 75W140 synthetic oil. On each side of the differential cover plate is a tag listing specific numbers for the differential. One of the tags lists the lubricant installed by the manufacturer. I also have a 2004 Rubicon and the rear differential on mine uses 75W140 synthetic oil plus 4 oz of limited slip lube. The front differential lists only 80W90 oil with no limited slip lube.

You need a torx wrench (in the star formation, the exact size is in your owner's manual) and then you just get two pretty strong people to lift it off, easy as pie. Just make sure you get the right soft top for your Jeep. Additional parts may be required. :-) Good luck

In short, yes. The 97-06 Wranglers all have the same bracketry but the Rubicon had a CV drive shaft where our X models have a non-CV shaft. A slip yoke eliminator (SYE) kit and CV shaft would allow your X model to become a Rubiclone for less than a real Rubi.

It is if you use cables to pull it up to the ceiling of the garage. Otherwise it takes at least 2 people. You don't want to do it every time it rains, but definitely worth taking off.
