What is the biggest tire that will fit onto your 2004 jeep rubicon?
I run 35x12.5x15 on my 04 w/ a 4.5 inch Rubicon Express lift kit. I believe I read somewhere that to go with a bigger tire would require re-gearing the stock 4.10 differentials. FWIW, I've driven both 35 and 33 inch tires and prefer the 33.
depends on how you drive it; I have gotten as little as 12 mpg and as much as 20 mpg.
What does a P0121 diagnostic code for a 2003 Jeep Wrangler?
P0121 = TPS Voltage Does Not Agree With MAP sensor signal. That likely means the TPS (throttle position sensor) has gotten dirty inside and is sending out an erratic voltage the computer doesn't like. The usual fix for this is to replace the TPS which is a fairly easy "one-banana" job. The TPS cannot be cleaned when it goes bad, it can only be replaced.

How do you hook up a trailer wiring harness on a 2002 Jeep Liberty?
Do not purchase a universal harness. Purchase an OEM type trailer harness for your ride and it will fit perfectly and be basically a plug in type. It will cost more but is worth it. The instructions that come with it will describe in detail the installation. The 2002 - 2005's are the same. hitches4less sells the OEM wiring harness. It is basically a plug-and-play installation. Unlike other harnesses, however, the liberty also has a ground wire and a "hot" wire from the converter. After plugging the harness into the exiting plugs, you have to ground the converter, and then run a hot wire (with an inline fuse) to the battery. This hot wire, as per mfgr. provide power to the trailer lights.

15" wheels fit a Rubicon fine. All the other TJs have 15" wheels. The only reason that the Rubicon has a 16x7 is so that Jeep could put a 31" tire on it. The 31x10.50r15 rubs, but the metric version is like a 31x9.50. most people that lift Rubicons replace the stock wheels with 15's.

The transmission control module and engine control module are one part and are located under the hood.
Where is the flasher module on a 2004 jeep wrangler rubicon located?
Turn signal flashers:
a. On 2001- Current TJ's, the turn signal flasher is located under the plastic cover
on top of the steering column, ahead of the steering wheel. Removing the 3
Phillips head screws from the bottom (You'll see the access holes to insert the
screwdriver) will allow the cover to loosen, there is a small latch on the forward
edge of the cover that requires a small amount of force to release. The flasher is
the black 1" square by approximately 2" long box that is on the right side, just
above the Key. Remove this flasher unit by pulling it away from the steering
wheel, or towards the front of the vehicle. Pay attention to the orientation of the
flasher unit, the terminals will only allow it to go in one way. Take the new flasher
and install it in the same manner. Test by turning on the key and cycling the turn
signal switch and if the turn signals flash slower than previous, as slow as
normal, then the flasher is correct.
b. On pre-2001 TJ's, the flasher is located under the dash, clamped to the steering
column, on the side towards the center of the jeep. To make finding it easier,
remove the knee panel under the dash and its steel backup. Turn the turn signals
on so that the flasher is clicking, then follow the sound and feel for the black box
that is clicking. You can make replacement easier by removing it from it's metal
clip. Disconnect the flasher, replace with new flasher unit. Test turn signals and
stow the flasher unit back in its original mounting position. If the original mounting
clip will not work with the new flasher, simply zip tie the unit into place.
Will 350 watt amplifier will support 1300 watt subwoofer?
yes but the sound quality aint good enough :)
Engines will sometimes make a little rod or lifter noise when starting if all oil has drained from either the hydraulic lifter or the crankshaft. If the engine has been running a while and the oil is hot it drains easier from the bearing "journals". Typically, if everything else is ok, that does not turn out to be a problem nor does the engine make any different noise. But once the main and/or rod bearings start to wear, the bearings will "pop" against the crankshaft until oil pressure is built up. It can take a couple seconds and sound quite bad. In fact, it isn't very good for the engine. Next time you change the oil, try a heavier grade oil. If you've been using a 5 W 15, try a 10 W 30. If you've already been using a 10 W 30, try a 15 W 40. That's just the nature of running an older engine that has a little wear on it. It's essential that you keep the oil and filter changed and the oil level up to avoid costly engine damage. I've seen engines go more than 300,00 and 400,000 miles when properly maintained. I've also seen engines fail after 30,000 because the oil was never changed. A little prevention goes a long way with engine maintenance.
