First U have to Unhook and Remove The Fabric cover Start by Removing the windows Usually they zipper on. Then Unhook It From the windshield it Sorta Just Clips Into Grooves in the hardware Once the Fabric is Removed then u have to Unbolt And Remove all the Soft top Hardware

try turning the screws that are located by the headlights usually on top.it should have two per headlights 1 horizontal adjust and 1 vertical adjust turn them slowly until you find your desire aiming spot.(check you vehicles manual for manufacturers specs)

To adjust your headlights on a tj, you first have to remove the chrome trim ring around the headlights. there are 3 torx screws that hold the trim ring in place. Behind that there are 2 adjustment screws that are torx screws. You can loosen or tighten them to adjust the beam. there are 2 screws that adjust, the other three in there are to hold the headlight down. The top screw adjusts the up-down aim, the side screw adjusts the left-right aim. And if you have a skinny-enough torx-head screwdriver, there is no need to remove the trim ring first. pull the pin on the tension arm on the bows to release tension on the top, then pull down on all the sides to release it from the mounting groove, the same groove keeps the top on the windshield, then just fold it all down.

What you need is an alternator wiring pigtail harness from the dealer!

It is not getting fuel, air or spark. Take out one of the plugs with the spark plug wire on and wear heavy gloves. Hold the tread part of the plug to a body ground and have some one crank the Jeep. If you see sparks you are ok, if not you need a coil roter cap. Reinstall the plug and take off the breather. Does it smell really stong of gas, if so it is flooded. If not port a small about of gas in the carb and crank (Be ready for a back fire) the Jeep. If it starts you have a bad fuel pump, cloded line or filter. If she still won't run you go me. May have jumped time. Mark

Remove the bolt that is holding it the frame and pry it loose. You will need a pickle fork to get the other one off the steering rod. You can get them for 15 bucks and any auto part store. It looks like a giant two pronged fork with a ball on the other end to hit with a hammer. Once you have it remove the cotter pin and the nut. Take your pickle fork and place it between the shock end and the steering rod so the prongs will go around the bolt. Hit the fork in a direction that will not bend the steering rod. It will probably need a big hammer as they tend to not want to budge. This may damage your grease seal. Another option you could try is to loosen the nut so it comes the the end of the bolt but not off. Hit it with a hammer until it pops out. I havent had that much luck with this method but you can give it a shot. Do not hit the bolt with out the nut on it, you will damage the threads and will need to replace the joint.

body styles and components changed in 1997. Parts are interchangeable from 97-05 models I believe but not before.
