I just used a 5/8 V-belt ( 5/8 on top x 3/8 high) x 142" long.

Just had the same problem. I replace the coil but it wasnt until I replaced the small silver square thing that they called the "module". It has 1 input into it with two white wires that run in under fly wheel. That fixed problem about $80 AUS and mower started but now seems to be out of time and wont fire.

Not currently. That kind of information is normally held by each OEM individually, though there is beginning to be some cooperation as far as part numbers and exploded view imaging. Each dealership maintains its own database of what it needs to work on its machinery, but is frequently unable to help much with very complex models of competitor equipment.

Which type of tractor are you talking about? John Deere used similar numbering systems for its various models of tractors. My best suggestion for you is to try your local John Deere dealer and by giving them a full description of your tractor they can easily tell you what year your tractor was made.

Between six and twelve MPG, depending on terrain, load and a bunch of other factors. Drivers who have good trucks like Volvo VN780s, International ProStars or Freightliner Cascadias, and who drive them intelligently (accelerating smoothly, for instance) don't have much of a problem getting 8mpg on a consistent basis. I know two drivers with Kenworth T660s. One of them gets 12mpg all the time. The other works really hard to get 7mpg. The difference? Terrain and load. The high-mileage driver pulls loads of tires, which are fairly light because they're hollow, across level terrain in Texas, Oklahoma and Louisiana. The low-mileage driver pulls loads of paper and beer through the Appalachians and the Ozarks.

I have a model 950 tractor that also uses the same heat sensor switch - ch15516. As far as I know, you cannot use anything but this john deere part. It is about $35 a your nearest Deere dealer.

Depends on the weight of the combination, but most silage trailers I've seen are the type which attach to a Class 7 or Class 8 truck, either using a kingpin and fifth wheel, or else using a pintle and clevice. If these are 'for hire' vehicles, they would require a Class A CDL in the United States, Class 1 licence in Canada, and EC licence in South Africa, and I believe it's now called a C+E licence in the United Kingdom (bear in mind we entertain questions from a worldwide audience).

In the United States, if it's registered as a farm vehicle, and not used on a 'for hire' basis, individual states have jurisdiction over licencing requirements for farm use vehicles, as they are exempt from CDL requirements. Other countries do not differentiate between vehicles of that class which are used on a 'for hire' or private usage basis.

RE529643 is the part number for a fuel filter, not an oil filter. This filter is made by stanadyne and is made specifically for John Deere. No other manufacturers use this exact filter according to Stanadyne's cross reference document (99642)

In the past few years John Deere has made over 100 different vehicles. You are assuming they all have the same wheel bearings, but I doubt it. -Model number and year would help.

Depends on the hours and condition of the mower. A low hours, well kept mower should go for around $1000. The price will also vary depending on your location.

John Deere stopped making snowmobiles for two reason: one, the direct drive system did not stand up to it's competitors, and two John Deere did not make enough money off of them.

10W30 with Turf Guard, which is an additive for high RPM motors. This is only available through a John Deere Dealership, but in a pinch any good quailty 10W30 motor oil will work.
