The John Deere 777 that I run uses a 10w-30 in the engine. The hydraulic drivetrain uses 15w-40 diesel engine rated oil. I run Shell Rotella for both and only use Wix filters. I believe your 757 is the same, but the capacities for each system may differ.

Look at the oil fill. The place where the dip-stick is. You will see a metal clamp. Follow that clamp to the front. There you will see a black wire. That is the wire that goes to the spark plug. Gently pull the wire off and then you will see the spark plug. You will need the the long 1/2" socket in order to fit into the space to loosen the plug. When you put the new plug in,use the socket to help you. It will be easier for you. Your fingers will not fit. Good luck, Lou

B5 or 5% biodiesel would be the limit I would use in any tractor at least at the current level of biodiesel formulations. In the winter biodiesel does cause more problems so be more careful.

I think near clutch pedal. On the housing, there is a square plate with four nuts on studs. Remove the nuts, and the spring loaded plate will have the filter in it.

there are 2 bolts at the front that hold down the front plate with hood latch remove those bolts and the whole front plate with latch comes off.

My JD L 120 2004 mower deck clutch would not engage. On the clutch plug there are 2 black wires crimped together on the plug spade along with a yellow wire connected to a second spade, same connector. The crimp is very small and very tight. I pulled the plug off after first releasing the plug clip lock with a small screwdriver. when I moved each black wire independently at the crimp connection one of the wires felt very loose or easy to move because internally, due to vibration the small gauge electrical wire it had separated inside of the plastic coating. Evidently due to the safety switches there is a separate feed for forward and backward operation of the PTO clutch, hence the reason for 2 black wires. This also explains why the clutch would engage in reverse. Either way due to vibration any one of these wires could be fatigued and broken internally. To repair the problem I cut both black wires off of the spade crimp and reconnected at the crimp area by soldering the wires on top of the crimp. Problem solved.
