There are many handy keyboard shortcuts. Command plus holding down the left or right arrow will move the spacer to the beginning or end of the line. Or use Ctrl plus A to move to the beginning of the line and Ctrl plus E to move to the end of the line.

If you are using Google Chrome: on the right side of the URL bar there is a small star. Click the star and it will ask you to name the favorite and where in your favorites you want it saved. Then it will add the website to the favorites bar

If you are using Internet Explorer (9), assuming your favorites bar is visible, on the far left of the favorites bar their is a small yellow star with a green arrow. Click that, and Internet Explore will add that website to the bar.
