It does nothing if you aren't using it for any programs. But if you have a program open like Microsoft word the F7 key opens up spellcheak. You see the F- keys do different things in different programs.

UNLESS you are holding the FN key in the bottom left hand corner, if you hold that then it will do what the picture in blue shows on the F7 key.

You have to get to the BIOS to do that.Here is how to get to the BIOS and get your Computer to boot into the CD:

To enter the BIOS is very simple. As soon as you boot up your system rapidly hit the Del or Delete button on your keyboard, and if that doesn't work reboot your computer and this time hit rapidly the F2 Key (At the top) and if that doesn't work reboot again and rapidly hit the F10 Key.

After you get to the BIOS go to "BOOT" and make sure that the CD Drive is at the top, and to do that go down to the top option then hit enter then select the CD Drive.

Also make sure the boot order is like this:

1.CD Drive2.Floppy Drive3.Hard Disk Drive

Then go to the top and go to the right until you get to "EXIT" then go down until you get to Exit (Save Changes) or Save Changes and Exit.Reboot with the CD in the Drive and it should automaticly boot to the CD.

Posture: You should be sitting upright with your feet on the floor. Your wrists should float an inch or two above the desk/keyboard (NOT resting on them) And the keyboard should be at a level so that your elbows bend approx 90 degrees. Wrists should be straight.

Fingertips should rest on the "home row" keys... asdf for the left hand and jkl; for the right with thumbs over the space bar. Assuming a standard QWERTY layout of course.

The keyboard should lie flat on the desk, not slanted upward, do not use the retractable legs on the back of the keyboard to tilt it.

Consider a split or "wave" ergonomic keyboard. Once you get used to it, you may find it much more comfortable. In all respects a good quality keyboard can mean the difference between severe pain or years of uneventful typing.

A tab is that button on the keyboard that lets you enter a name or anything else without clicking on it. :)

It'll differ between certain computers like a mac vs. PC but if you're on a PC it's usually a combination of pressing alt and a sequence of numbers.

I hope that helped and maybe someone else knows which numbers exactly correspond to which symbols.

Some concept keyboards don't include numeric numbers. You can only access the options that are shown on the screen

Then just do a three and you have the heart symbol and there you go. If you meant an actual heart than i have no clue

You can use the Delete key and then type the new entry in. If you have the cell already opened for editing, you can use the Backspace to delete everything back to the start of the cell and then start your new entry.

50 to 60 words per minute is considered as a pretty good speed for typing

There are two types of braille keyboards. The most common type of braille keyboard is the chorded keyboard used on the Perkins brailler and on electronic braille notetakers. These keyboards do not have a separate key for each letter. There is one key for each dot of a braille cell. To type one letter, all of the keys that correspond to the dots in that letter are pressed at the same time. The brailler or notetaker advances to the next letter after the keys are released. A spacebar is located below the main keys.

Occasionally, one may find a computer or typewriter keyboard that has been labeled with braille letters. Most blind people do not use these, as they learn to memorize the keyboard layout and type by touch. Good sighted typists use the same memorization techniques to speed up typing. Typically, labelled QWERTY keyboards are only used by young children, newly blind adults, or people with additional disabilities who have difficulty memorizing the keyboard layout.

The layout of the Qwerty Keyboard dates back to typewriters. The idea is that the keys are laid out on the board so that the more used ones are near the stronger fingers.

The layout is supposed to help with rapid typing. It also goes someway to preventing the key levers jamming since it spreads the letters out a bit - this is no longer a problem since Computers don't have mechanical bits hitting the paper anymore!
